You have to try the pork teriyaki! It seriously tastes incredible. I never considered pork teriyaki, as I used to always go with the chicken. The pork is well grilled, and thin sliced. It has minimal chew, and just melts in your mouth. It really beats chicken hands down. I have eaten at Apple many times through the years. It is consistent, cheap eats, and the teriyaki sauce is perfect. I also love their salad dressing. Anyways, if you don’t feel like cooking, hangry, and want a cheap filling meal with large portions… Go to Apple. And remember!!! Give the pork a try! I promise, it will change your opinion on chicken! LOL!

This was the worse food. I ordered honey chicken and couldn’t even eat it. it was old oil and the sauce was chalky. the noodles we ordered weren’t good, Safeway noodles are better. even the rice was old and gross. nothing was fresh. everthing tasted old and like it was out of a jar.

Walked in, it was completely empty, we came for lunch at 11am. The woman at the counter looked at us(seeing as no one else was there) and not even a «Hello» or smile. I felt like I had just trespassed onto her property. Very cold and not an ounce of customer service friendliness. I even had to ask if they were open. She never answered but stood in front of the cash register and waited looking annoyed. I suppose she had more important things to do or something since they were so busy and all. I ordered two shrimp chow mein and the T-22 combination plate. While I was ordering I asked if the chow mien came with rice, and I THINK she said«yes»? but I’m not quite sure. She barely acknowledged I had even asked a question. I didn’t bother asking anything else, I just wanted to get out of there since I was feeling negative vibes; so uncomfortable. This was my first visit here and it is definitely most likely my last. Food was okay, but completely overshadowed by the service. I don’t wish to eat somewhere(or order), where I feel so unwelcome. I understand now why there were no customers! I should’ve just went to the subway next door.

I heart this place… We eat here about every other week… its cheap, clean and the food is always fresh and delicious. YOu get decent size plates… and their customer service is awesome unlike many asian restauraunts that lack in customer service. We usually call in our order then pick it up and they already know our order!!! A Must try… one of the best small spots to eat terriyaki. their eggrolls are the best egg rolls i have ever had, and their bugolgi, their mongolian beef and terriyakis give this spot an A!!!

If I had to describe this teriyaki joint in one word i would have to say it’s really really bland. plus they charge you an extra 50 to 75 cents for chili paste«chili paste people»

Very solid place for chicken teriyaki. I work near by and this is the only teriyaki place I regularly visit out of the 4 places near by. The sauce is the best I’ve had. The only drawback(for me) is they only serve pork options for gyoza and spring rolls and I don’t eat pork.

I came here for lunch when my brother and I couldn’t find the taco truck. I got the spicy chicken and he got the Mongolian beef & chicken teriyaki combo. My chicken was really dry and it needed more sauce. He said his food was dry too. They have complimentary egg drop soup which tasted okay. It was orange so it kinda threw me off. The lady in the front wasn’t very nice and cold. My brother asked for chopsticks and she just handed it to us with no response or smile. I wouldn’t come back. There are better places to get teriyaki.

I was really disappointed in this place. My sister & I were looking for some food in the area and saw some great Unilocal reviews. We got here at lunch time(11:45) and there were 2 other customers there so I figured they had a later lunch rush. The lady at the counter who took our order was very cold. She wasn’t rude, but didn’t even give us verbal communications and never looked up at us. I got the chicken teriyaki & Mongolian beef combo while my sister got the spicy chicken. About 10 minutes later our food came out. My Mongolian beef was way overcooked. Another few seconds of cooking and it would have pretty much been beef jerkey. The chicken was dry & stringy. My sister’s was the same way. I’m assuming that this was leftover unsold chicken from the day before but most teriyaki joints are closed on Sundays so many 2 days old. Either way, it was pretty bad. The place only gets 2 stars because they give you free soup and the prices were pretty reasonable, but then again I wouldn’t even pay half that price for this food again.

Just writing to say the other reviewers are 100% correct. This place has the best Yakisoba in town. Its a friendly family run establishment that produces above average teriyaki for the same price as the local dive. Triple Combination is a great plate at a great price! Very friendly staff. I honestly have never eaten at the place I always order to go because the inside is small. But they do have tea and water for you while you wait. My favorite teriyaki place in the south end.

Everyone in Seattle seems to have their favorite teriyaki joint, and this is mine. Their katsu chicken is perfectly crisp yet moist, the katsu sauce is delicious, and their other dish combinations are always flavorful. The prices are just right and the small dining area is clean yet welcoming enough. The service always comes with a smile. I haven’t found a better teriyaki place yet, even up in Seattle. I have never been sorry that I ate here!

One of the better teriyaki restaurants I have been to. The service is fairly quick and very friendly. It’s a family run business with a cute Korean couple working together so there’s always a cozy friendly atmosphere. The chicken teriyaki is at a great price(cheaper than other places I have been to) and delicious. Highly recommend the yakisoba. Well-cooked and the right flavor. Probably one of the best ones I have ever had. Overall, this small cozy restaurant has great food at a great price!

I eat here often and the food is great for a teriyaki joint. The yakisoba is excellent and comes with a large sized portion.

As far as teriyaki places go this one is fairly above average. Personally, I really enjoy their yakisoba dishes. Also, their gyoza are fried, making them uniquely delicious. The restaurant is small, only six or so tables, but there always seems to be someone eating there when I stop in. The only downside is that it can take a while to get your food if somebody places an order in front of you. This place has good food for decent prices.
