First, when I stopped by the shop, Jim was very friendly, helpful, and informative. That’s why I’m not giving only 1 star. He helped to diagnose a problem with my pond equipment without even seeing it. The fix required a replacement part and he ordered it. I stopped by Friday to pay for it and pick it up(was told to keep the box and receipt because I had 7 days in case of any problem), took it home, and found the part did not fit. I went back Saturday to return the item and was told I couldn’t return a special order. Jim was not there. I left my number for Jim to call me(he wasn’t there at the time). When I called him Tuesday he still refused to refund me, claiming that I am responsible for his having ordered the wrong part. The conversation ended with his offer for me to make another trip to his shop, and if it is the wrong part, he would offer me store credit. Poor first-time experience, I doubt I’ll be back. That’s what I get for trying to support small local business instead of ordering from Amazon…
