If you’re wondering why you hardly ever see the same waiter twice, it’s because of their shady management, and absolutely cerifiable manager lady. I used to think the sushi here was top quality for Fayetteville, and that has really gone down in last year. All their fish tastes the same no matter what you get, and they keep changing up pricing schemes. Yes, they have 50% off rolls, but they raised the prices of ALL their rolls by several dollars, then discounted them. I was a regular and I remember the old prices, going back to its previous incarnation where the Blue Fin was/is. I have not been to the restaurant in many months due to being yelled at and threatened by the manager lady when I refused to «write down my credit card number» when their line was down. With the troubles they’ve had both with maintaining a liquor license and paying their taxes, I doubt this place will last much longer.

Up to par with most the sushi in town. Also have great prices and specials. Their hours can be a little strange… not posted on the door. Their all you can eat is the same quality as made to order. They’re working on getting beer and wine.

Pretty good sushi, great price, and great location. They have 50% off lunches, and the outdoor seating is primo on a nice day.

The sushi here is very good quality! The Mirage, one of the flaming dishes, is as delicious as it is cool. Definately not a novelty — but worth it when it comes to paying a little more for a nicer sushi than the everyday rolls. The only problems I’ve had at this restaurant were the staff — I’ve encountered two separate but very different«creepers» that worked there. I’ve had nights when the service has been very quick and timey, but other nights when they have been slow and as I said… awkward and creepy.

I agree with the previous poster, on being only one customer and five workers/employees/call it what you want. Based on the sushi alone, by far the best. I went there about a year ago checking out the famous Dixon Street and UoA, it was interesting. I never had a flaming(literally in flames, covered in tin foil) cheesy crunch roll. Had a great conversation with the sushi chef, and turns out he used to live in Fullerton. The only drawback is that many of the restaurants over there close around 10PM. They were closing shop, right when I was finishing my roll. Maybe I’m just a bit used to California living.

I came back to pick up some lunch the other day. They make really good Sushi here. But It was me and only two other patrons. There was twice as many employees! Two waiter, two chefs and a Maitre de. I ordered a to go order. It was only a few pieces of Sushi. Not even rolled Sushi! It took a full hour to get my food! I do not understand what could have been the problem. It wasn’t complicated…8 balls of rice and 8 pieces of fish! Come ON! This is the slowest service I have ever seen! The sad thing was the other people had already been served so really, it was only me in there waiting for food!
