Food was average, service was subpar. What kind of Sushi restaurant forget to provide an extra plate, soy sauce holder, and wasabi? Our food came out at different times and waiter didn’t get soup and salad out until we had to remind him. 4/10, only going again if they are paying me next time

We came from out of town and were looking for good sushi. We found it here! Everything was fresh and delivered promptly. We really appreciated the special touches of free edamame and fried Oreos.

Tokyo is my go-to place for sushi, especially for lunch. We don’t always get good service(especially during peak business hours or with a large group), but they often give free samples and desserts and the staff is always friendly. If you aren’t sure that you like sushi, they have a lot of «Americanized» rolls that are fried and covered in sauce. They also have sashimi and more traditional rolls.

They ruined my 21st birthday a few years ago. They brought my food out after everyone else had already finished their meal and all I ordered was a little basic crab roll. Also none of the staff told me «Happy Birthday». People don’t forget.

My number one reason for coming back is the generosity of the manager/owner(or whomever it may be). Most places cut back on giving away things. Tokyo on the other hand always gives you fresh edamame when seated. Once ordering they also give you free soup and salad which is always a nice touch. Though, the most recent visit to Tokyo is the main reason for writing this review. Along with all of those goodies, my girlfriend and I were also given two pieces of a fried California roll. I ordered a favorite of mine, the«Ahi Tower» and as always the presentation was amazing and it was appetizing as always. And on top of all that the manager also gave us a free huge bowl of fried Ice cream on the house and I noticed other tables were given a huge serving of it as well once they were finished with their meals. So besides paying for two drinks and two orders of sushi we got edamame, soup, salad, small portion of sushi and dessert all for free. No other sushi place in the area would do that so seriously if you haven’t been give Tokyo a shot, if you have and didn’t enjoy it, try again, you might be impressed. Location wise: I don’t love going to Dickson but if I am going out for drinks its convenient. Atmosphere: Nothing spectacular, always very clean, good music, never too busy. (Side note, I do find it cool for them to have translations of Japanese words on the wall to learn) Staff: Always very friendly. Menu: Large variety and pricing is very reasonable. Freebies: Edamame, Soup, Salad Food: Always delicious and presentation is wonderful.

Fantastic!!! Fresh fish, attentive staff, charming atmosphere and reasonably priced. Ate here twice this week while in town for business and it is not a fluke.

If you’re a student at U of A who wants a california roll with free salad and miso, go here. If you’re not, steer clear.

My daughter loves this place but after taking her and her friend today extremely disappointed. The chicken fried rice had a large hair in it. Yes they did make a new plate but when I received the bill it was full price. After asking the manager he only agreed to taking 30% off of the fried rice. Totally unacceptable!!! But then again I’m not going to argue to no avail. Not ever coming back and won’t go to Wasabi because it is owned by the same owners.

I was here for lunch and after being underwhelmed on other visits, I was not expecting too much. However, I will not be going back. When my soup was set before me, a small, black, kinky hair was floating on the surface, complete with the pale follicle on one end. When I notified our waiter, he was apologetic, and said he saw it floating there. He took my soup away, and after a muffled conversation with someone in the entrance to the kitchen, came back with new soup, saying, «That wasn’t a hair! You’re crazy, that was a piece of seaweed, you just can’t tell the difference!» A hair? It happens. But to deny it and act as if I was the one out of my mind? No thank you.

My favorite sushi in town! The prices could be better, but it’s not awful at all and for ALL of the food you get, it’s worth it.

This was the best AR sushi I had during my stay. I had a sashimi platter and all my fish seemed fresh enough and the waitstaff was attentive but not looming. I don’t tend to crave sushi this far inland but I found the flavor, texture and ambiance of the place interesting. Being near halloween they had décor up including fake bodies or zombies in the place. The miso I had was tasty and the seaweed salad was the largest portion I’ve ever seen. I think I ate a months worth of sesame oil. I’d eat here again if I was in town.

My favorite sushi place in Fayetteville! Good prices for excellent rolls. The lunch specials are also really good! You get free edamame, salad, and miso soup so compared to other places that is an excellent deal. They seem a little under staffed but I’ve never had to wait too long to get our food. I love coming back here over and over.

Tokyo Sushi left off half my take out order, and when I had to drive back to get the rest of the food I had paid them for, expressed zero remorse and made no attempt to make it right. They don’t include soup in their take out orders even if it’s printed on their menus that soup is included in the meal. They also don’t charge you less even though you’re only getting part of your order. The menu that’s on here is wrong; they’ve hiked up their prices a couple of dollars so now they’re only $.05 different from Wasabi. Their quality, however, is miles apart. The point: Wasabi costs almost the same, has better quality food, and actually gives you everything you’re paying for. They’re also far more welcoming. The only reason to eat at Tokyo Sushi is the free DumDum suckers offered at the door, but suckers you could buy by the hundreds at Harp’s really shouldn’t be a sushi bar’s only redeeming value.
