Such an amazing bakery! I’m from NC so I’m a diehard Krispy Kreme fan but let me tell you the doughnuts here are to die for! But don’t just lint yourself to that. The apple fritters are heaven, their fried croissant will knock your pants off, and they have fresh German style bread that is oh so good! There aren’t many places in Fayetteville that are unique and so fresh. We have way too many chain stores and restaurants and it’s lovely to have a locally owned bakery with amazing product.

The fried croissants and doughnuts are really good. I will say I kind of expected there to be some seating being they serve doughnuts. Don’t plan on staying to eat your yummy treats. I would say the staff was not unpleasant but they could have been a little more friendly and not seem so annoyed when I asked questions.

Drove by this morning and had to stop in. Missed the KK shop because I left to early. So bought a large box for the crews this morning as always. When the Fat man buys donuts it in bulk. Price was great and I had no problem either service. Very friendly. Great local store.

Awesome bakery! Everything is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Free coffee with every pastry purchase. My favorite has got to be eclairs. Just thinking about them makes my sweet tooth tingle!

What a pleasant surprise it was to find this bakery today! Great prices, great goodies and breads, enjoyed talking with the owner for several minutes, and we really appreciate their authentic baking practices. We will certainly be returning!

First time going there this morning and loved it! The minute we walked in we were handed a fresh glazed twist for free! It was awesome. We picked out some pastries and donuts and it was all very well priced. We were going to get a fresh loaf of bread but decided next time we would. Great experience– lovely way to spend a Saturday morning. Can’t wait to go back!

Came here this morning. Was greeted by a very friendly woman and a warm fried croissant! The store is not aesthetically pleasing but the donuts are delicious! It’s kind of in a sketchy strip mall, but they’re only open during daylight hours so there is nothing to worry about! I will def. be back for some more yummy donuts!

This is such an awesome local gem! There’s a large variety of baked goods and it’s all freshly made, you can see the bakers in the back making and prepping dough. There are sweet loaves of dessert breads you notice when you walk in, a case full of sweet pastries near the counter, and fresh baked savory breads(baguettes and etc) nearer to the back. I’m totally here for the fried croissants though; they range in plain, cheese, and cherry(?). There are also normal circular donuts(plain and chocolate), napoleons, eclairs, biscottis, cannolis, and other things that will definitely make your sweet tooth go ‘yikes diabetes’. The staff are really nice, while we were browsing, a nice older gentleman offered us a free chocolate-cherry biscotti. I’m totally a Krispy Kreme gal but if I’m on that side of town when Superior is open, I would be more than happy to grab a donut(or dozen) here. By the way, Superior Bakery is clearly an in-and-out establishment since there are no tables or seats, but really, that’s a good thing — no one wants to watch me scarf down three freshly fried croissants in one sitting.

Not somewhere you want to sit and eat, a sign is on the door that says«free coffee with purchase of a pastry», yet after purchasing 4, I was offered none. Pastries were average and the employee didn’t inform me one was stuffed with lemon curd. Yuck. I won’t go back.

This place is a gem! We went on a Monday morning and they had a great selection of pastries! They had samples out for tasting of multiple different items. We ended up getting a fried donut, a croissant, a pumpkin spice biscotti(amazing!!), an éclair and a wedding cookie, all of which were great! Nick, who I’m guessing is the owner, is super friendly and came out to speak to us. He even gave us a French loaf after hearing it was our anniversary. They give free coffee with a purchase of a pastry. After getting that pumpkin spice biscotti, my husband went back today(the next day) and ended up getting more than we got yesterday! Cherry chocolate chip biscotti, a few fried donuts, another croissant and a cookie! This place is great!

I’m not a donut connoisseur at all, but this place is great. Got myself a dozen to share with the crew. Yes, the donuts don’t all look uniform since they aren’t created by machines or conveyer belts(at least I don’t think they are), but they are still soft and super delicious. Got a good variety available too. Other than that, I’m hoping to stop by again at some point to grab some other baked goods since I now know this place exists.

I was reading an article the other day about the death of the traditional American bakery. Obviously, that author hasn’t been to Superior Bakery because they are alive and kicking. I stopped in this morning to pick up some goodies for some of my colleagues at work. This is a guaranteed way to get some cool points with your co-workers. There were plenty of options to choose from, but I went with several varieties of donuts and croissants. The cheese-filled croissants are out of this world good. I always ask them to toss in a couple extra of those because I know a few aren’t going to make it to their final destination. They bake cakes, pies, fresh breads, and a variety of pastries. Do yourself a favor, stop by, have them make you up a box of goodies, and make some friends. This place is awesome!
