Sound Minds helped my teen daughter IMMENSELY with her issues of insecurity. I recommend them to anyone dealing with emotional issues.

After four or five sessions, I’ve come to the conclusion that Sound Minds: 1. Hates army wives. 2. Believes all army wives are lazy, starve their husbands, don’t get jobs on purpose, and have nothing to have anxiety about.(I was told the reason I couldn’t sleep wasn’t because I had anxiety, but because I didn’t have a job. She wasted an entire session telling me to get a job. For the record, that had literally NOTHING to do with why I was there. I still have anxiety, and I still can’t sleep.) She asked me if I «at least cook» for my husband, implying I do nothing all day.(Yes, I do cook every day, thanks. Like that had anything to do with anything.) 3. Spends your hour talking about themselves. 4. Lies to you about what your partner says about you. Lead to a huge fight between me and my husband when she lied about something my husband didn’t even say. 5. Answers the phone in the middle of your session. (Oh and PS — everyone in the waiting room can hear her talk. My friend came with me for a session because we had errands to run afterwards, and she said she could hear every word said.) Honestly Sound Minds didn’t help me or my husband at all. Well, maybe it did… it helped us bond over why we didn’t like them and why everything she said was ridiculous. So thanks? Maybe it’ll help someone else, but personally it was a total waste of time. We’ll be going elsewhere.
