Sonic Drive-In

Ugh. after not going here for awhile I thought the customer service would be better. Wrong.

If you want to take 28 min to get a drink then this is the place to sit and wait.
Absolutely ridiculous.
Very few people here yet it took a while jut to get my drink in which we had to let a car hop girl know.
This use to be the best sonic in town. I don’t believe this anymore. I’d prefer to drive to spring lake sonic.

So my boyfriend and I have come here WAYY to many times, giving this place WAYY tooooo many chances for them to figure it out and get it right. Every time there is something wrong. No utensils, wrong order, no napkins, wrong drinks, forgetting food, etc.
The service is SO slow; which makes this whole experience even worse. We waited 10 minutes for our food — we ordered 2 large cheese tots, 2 cokes, and 2 burgers. We got 1 plain tater tot, 2 flat cokes, 2 burgers (wrong condiments), and no utensils or napkins. So we called the server back over to us to let her know what was wrong. Another 10 minutes later our new drinks and tots came out — cheese tots were still not correct. We also still didn’t have napkins or utensils. We said forget it and left… it was way to irritating and frustrating to deal with this nonsense any longer.
Their speakers are awful like I’m talking them taking your order is painstakingly terrible. Once they finally completely get ur order they repeat it back to you, they get the order right but bring it out to you wrong. So I’d imagine that there is an issue with the kitchen making the food.

This is perhaps the slowest Sonic in Fayetteville. No matter what time of day I come here, there is always a long wait. Today I tried the drive thru and ended up sitting there longer than if I had went to a stall.

I normally get the cheese coney meal with tots and a limeade. I give my dog the dog as three times I received stale bread and a dry hot dog with chili that I never asked for. Tots are yummy!

Food is always good. But service is terrible. I ordered at the drive in. Lady brings my food out maybe 10 minutes later. Then asks if I had anything else. I said yes I ordered a shake. She goes in, comes out and tells me they’re just making it now. And she comes out 5 minutes later with my shake.

I have no idea how the food is but the Blue Raspberry Slush with Nerds I got today was epic. I’m unfortunately an adult so the only people I’m gonna discuss this with is my fellow Unilocalers;) If the heavens parted and something poured out… it’s this. I was so amped after this indulgence it was like putting Redbull in your coffee instead of water. This could be the diabetic coma talking but I’m stoked to know this exists! =D

So the line can move a little slow but the slushes are definitely worth it. There’s a morning drink rush and a happy hour and drinks are marked down. That’s about all i go here for. When I’m being a little daring I’ll get a toaster but sometimes the bread isn’t toasted! It ends up being just thick white bread which is not so good.
So my 4 stars are for the drinks :)

I promise y’all I do more than eat! So I really love this location it’s never too busy! The service is alway fast and my order is always correct! I remember way back in the day they messed up my order I ex and definitely compensated me well! I especially like their happy hour in the summertime! I think it’s 2−4pm but it could last til 5! If you get there between 2 – 4 you’ll be ok!

Decent. One of the FEW Sonics I’ve seen here (maybe the only one?) with an actual drive-​thru.
Gotta get a limeade.

This place has the dubious honor of being one of the grossest fast-​food places I’ve ever eaten at. I didn’t even know it was possible to make french toast dippers inedible, but they managed. Everything I order from here always comes out tasting like it’s been fried in grease that hasn’t been changed since 1976, and probably dropped on the ground a few times. Even their slushies aren’t good, because they don’t add enough flavoring. The only thing I’ll get from here are cherry Dr. Peppers.

You know what really annoys me? The fact that Sonic plays commercials in New York and there isn’t one within literally 200 miles. Granted, their commercials are pretty hilarious, it’s just not fair.
This is the Sonic location that got me hooked on Strawberry Limeades and Jalepeno Poppers. I’ll be in Fayetteville this weekend and you better believe I’ll be paying a visit. I don’t generally like fast-​food, at all… but Sonic doesn’t have that taste or feel. It’s much cooler, and if you get lucky, you’ll get a car-​hop on rollerskates! (just be careful of your drinks)
I also love the whole drive-​IN thing. It’s not as weird to sit in your car and eat in one of their carport thingies, as pulling through the drive through at Wendy’s and then hunting for a parking spot to stuff your face.
I really do love Sonic, I just wish they’d either pull the commercials or build one in NY!
