Seriously… the food does not get better than this. THEBEST Mediterranean food I’ve had. This place was recommended to me by several people. I love this type of food, so I am all over it. When I got there, I couldn’t decide what to order. Everything sounded so good, and the food on the other tables… well, that didn’t make it any easier! I decided to have the waitress surprise me with something delicious. She brought out the sampler platter, and that was absolutely heavenly. She was a little nervous to make the decision for me, but I reassured her that she wasn’t going to go wrong. WOW… WOWW. WOWWW! Hands down… the best dolmas I have ever had. I saved the last one for my final bite. I wanted dessert(Sultan’s Delight) but had no room for it, so I did what any dessert loving fiend would do… to go! It made a great midnight snack and breakfast the next day. To quote Ahnold… I’ll Be Back!

Excellent service, excellent atmosphere, excellent Food! Just Great! The owner makes a point of visiting with all the customers if they are there(which they have always been when I have been there). Locally owned which makes it even Better! You will not regret it! God bless

I“ve been here several times and have always loved it, but lunch yesterday disappointed. I got a special, the chicken bowl, and it was so salty I wasn’t able to enjoy it much. I could tell there would have been some good flavors there if it hadn’t been so salted… also, the bread I received was cold and unappetizing. I had to listen to a man in the kitchen screaming at someone else for a couple of minutes when I first arrived. Good wine though, I enjoyed the pinot noir. I’ll probably go back to familiar items there and not venture out with newer specials .

One of my favorite places for lunch or dinner. Always great food and service. This is the type Of food I grew up eating and it’s the closest to my own sitti’s(Grandmother) as I can find. The owner is also extremely accommodating to large groups. They also love kids.

I so desperately wanted to love this place but was sadly underwhelmed. Besides standing at the door for a solid 15 minutes before were actually acknowledged, or hearing the waiters argue with management about time off, the food was subpar and overpriced. The falafel was dry and bland. My husband ordered a burger figuring you’d have to try really hard to foul up a burger, but somehow they managed. And the ceviche appetizer had a consistency I could only describe as slimy as childish as it sounds. The only thing we actually enjoyed were the wine and the beer we choose that afternoon. Will not be returning.

Food was great for lunch and staff was very friendly. Not too busy for noon hour, but everything was top notch. Clean, simple, and interesting food choices. Healthy eating is an option.

I am totally unimpressed with this restaurant since their move from Ramsey St. I used to enjoy getting a plate of grape leaves, some rice, good food at a good price. Then they moved and went«upscale.» I only went once to their new location and never again. Prices went up, choices went down. I had some chicken dish that was just a boiled chicken leg quarter with a little spice dumped on top, the whole thing on a bed of rice that, no kidding, smelled like dirty dishwater. My husband tried it and said it smelled/tasted like the nasty stuff the Pakistanis cooked for them when he was stationed at a camp in Iraq. A friend of mine also preferred the original location. Not as convenient but yummy food at good prices. He did not eat there but was shocked to see his bill after just a few drinks with a friend.

Stopped by for a quick lunch today and absolutely loved this place. Our server was so friendly and helpful with the portions on the menu. Was friendly and cheerful. I ordered the broccoli feta soup and the trio lunch appetizer. My boyfriend ordered the gyro bowl. He literally cleaned his plate off and it was the perfect lunch size portion. I loved everything I ordered and it was the perfect amount of food. I left full but not«over full.» We checked out the rest of the menu and we will be back to try out some of them. I think we found a new favorite spot. Must check it out!

This was my first stop in Fayetteville though I’ve driven past a few times while driving through NC on my way to other places. Today I needed a place for dinner and I was on trusty Unilocal looking for a nice dinner spot that was a sit-down establishment with some food that could be considered healthy. I’m so glad I found Sherefe! What a gem! We were quickly and easily seated at around 6pm(just in time to beat the Friday date night dinner rush) at a small 2-person table in the back by the kitchen. The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated with a large open dining area upon entrance, a small patio out front, a small bar, and more seating to the right of the hostess stand where we were and the kitchen can be found. It has exposed old brick and is just really charming inside. Our waitress was so personable and friendly and sweet! She suggested a few things from the menu and was attentive and kind the whole time, making small talk and giving some advice on Savannah, GA(where we were headed for the weekend). We started with their sampler appetizer which had tons of items and I can’t remember them all but we especially loved the hummus, quinoa salad with cucumber and tomato and greek hushpuppies(can’t remember the actual name). I ordered the swordfish which came with a mango salad and spinach/parm risotto. OMG — so delicious. My boyfriend ordered the bone-in lamb which is cooked all day and the meat literally fell off the bone. It also came with risotto. We tried a little of each others plates and it was delicious all the way around. Everyone was happy. I ordered baklava to finish the meal and was served a HUGE portion of it — sadly — the bf didn’t eat any so half went to waste. We found parking easily on the street and walked around downtown Fayetteville after dinner for an hour exploring the park, churches, main strip and shops. We were charmed and enchanted by the musicians, shops, and friendly people. I’d definitely stop in again!

The best Mediterranean Dinner I’ve had since dining in Cyprus. The humus was delicately flavored. You can’t compare it to any store bought. The Prince Edward Island mussels in garlic butter and wine were perfect and the chicken kabobs were tender and wonderfully seasoned. Service was perfect. Highly recommend.

I happened upon this restaurant while in search of the Trump campaign office. This is literally a few doors down. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of this place before. While the signage advertises it as a «Mediterranean grill», it was a pleasant surprise that the both the décor and food of the restaurant were authentically Turkish. My family and I have vacationed in Turkey on multiple occasions and it was exciting to know that a Turkish restaurant is here in Fayetteville. We ordered the Mediterranean Delight which was a large variety of Mezza and grilled meats along with Baklava for dessert. The food was presented well, was well seasoned, and i liked the few twists that were made to cater to the local audience like adding quinoa. Our server was attentive while giving us enough space to have an intimate meal. The music created great ambiance as it was lounge music quiet enough to hold a conversation over. The bathrooms were clean and there was a room for a small group downstairs and a large group upstairs. Plenty of street parking for free directly in the front. We will definitely be returning here soon!

Sherefe atmosphere is relaxing and arranged with great care. The staff is friendly from the moment you walk in. They offer a variety of flavorful Mediterranean dishes to choose from the menu. I ordered the shrimp scampi and risotto and it was divine.

Amazing food with an amazing atmosphere. This was my fourth time going to Sherefe and every time it gets better and better. I love that the owner walks around, greets you, and gives you advice about the food. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his food, his employees, and in his restaurant. Our waitress was very sweet, attentive, and understanding of our needs. This time around I decided to have the Steak burger and their Greek salad for lunch. The burger was cooked medium well and it was nice, juicy, and not tough at all. The burger had amazing flavor and was topped with Spinach, cheese, and an amazing tangy sauce – I definitely will be going back for this burger. But, I will also be going back for their meatloaf and eggplant mash potatoes that are just amazing! For dessert I shared the baklava with a friend – I definitely recommend sharing it as they give you two large pieces! The baklava is full of flavor and sweetened with honey and walnuts. Such a great way to end an amazing meal! If you are looking for a local, delicious, and healthy restaurant with a laid back and welcoming atmosphere this is the place to go.

This was a welcome change from the usual offerings in Fayetteville, NC. My family had a night out and this selection was a nice change from the usual«chain restaurants» around town. I really liked the look of the place and the menu choices. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi & Risotto. It was cooked very well, I was totally impressed. My family had the lamb and salmon — Everything was cooked well and full of seasoned flavor. Our server was knowledgable and patient, we didn’t feel rushed and that was nice because they were busy that night. I would return to dine here on future visits to Fayetteville and I definitely recommend to others.

Awesome food: my husband and I split the Mediterranean feast plus a Greek salad, beautiful food and it was plenty for the both of us. My brother-in-law and his wife had Moussaka and kafta and they enjoyed theirs as well. Great atmosphere: warm, inviting, intimate; not too big, not too small. Excellent service: we were seated immediately and our server was friendly, attentive and had great suggestions from the menu. Talented classical Egyptian dancer(aka belly dancer); she included an impressive sword dance and also the zils. Beautiful! Location: downtown Fayetteville is adorable and historic. We were able to park close by on Gillespie.

First visit here was outstanding. I loved sitting and eating out on the sidewalk. The hummus and pita were delicious. The next few visits were less than stellar. One night we sat outside and everything we ordered they were out of — — including bread :(The last time I went, the service was poor and the food so-so at best. I do love the relaxed atmosphere and authentic décor. Regrettably, the service and the food quality are a roll of the dice. :(
