It’s so hard to find a good hair stylist but I have been lucky enough to find April at Shear Madness. She’s amazing with color and I always get the result I’m looking for!

I can’t say enough good things about Crystal Allard! She is very, very talented in both cut and color. I moved here and am always exceedingly trepidatious about finding a new hairdresser. Crystal recently did some incredible custom color which included an eggplant undertone and it is FABULOUS. Beautiful and subtle but shiny and full in the sun. She is wonderful!

I think one of the hardest things about moving to a new location is finding a good hairdresser. I was lucky enough to have read Veronica’s review and after going to the salon website, I decided to make an appointment with Maegan… And I am so happy that I did! She was friendly, professional and made me feel comfortable which is important when you are trying out a new stylist. She gave me the exact haircut that I asked for and was very knowledgeable about hairstyles and what looks good/bad on different hair types. Not only was my haircut perfect but the price was really reasonable. AND I couldn’t believe it when she said that bang trims are FREE which will save me from a potential scissor fiasco in the future! I walked out of the salon feeling like a million bucks and can’t wait for my next haircut. Thanks Maegan! Oh and one helpful hint: There’s a small fee for using debit/credit cards so I’d pay with cash or check when you go.

My daughters decided to cut their own hair, which left me devastated and their hair was a mess. I asked my friends for reviews and where I should take them to get their hair fixed and Shear Madness was recommended. So the next morning, we headed on over. The giant sign on their door indicated that walk-ins were welcome, so we walked in. The moment we walked in, I was told that since I didn’t have an appointment that we couldn’t be seen. There was only one person working, one person in a chair(male) and no one in the salon waiting. Even though I showed the hair dresser my daughter’s hair, there was still no compassion for our situation. We would have been more then willing to wait, as we were walk-ins, but we were not given the option. All we wanted was to have their hair fixed, which took 10 minutes for both girls and the salon we ended up going to. I was very disappointed that we couldn’t be seen, despite the giant sign stating walk-ins were welcome.
