Came for the $ 2 margaritas the food was subpar but the service was good hence the 3 stars probably will not return.

The chips and salsa was ok but nothing special. I ordered the burrito mexicano azada and was very disappointed in the flavor. My husband got the mixed fajitas with chicken and shrimp. He like it a lot. My kiddo got the kids mexican pizza and said he would never order it again

Husband got terribly ill after eating there. Never will be in that place again. I had chicken and he had Fajita’s and tacos. He remarked that the tacos tasted funny. My taco salad with chicken was not very good. This was the first time we had eaten there and it was convenient, will never be back.

Totally disgusted, I got two tacos. The beef one of them was still pink! Then they tried to tell me it’s the seasoning. My other taco wasn’t pink! Nice try! Gross will never be back!

I don’t care what people think– as far as Tex Mex food goes– I like it here. Yes it’s not a mind blown food epiphany but It’s consistent, the salsa is one of my favorites– I like to mix the mild & hot. Even though it’s basic Mexican food like a handful of ones in the area, there’s something I like about this one.

My husband and I were out Christmas shopping when we decided we needed sustenance. We were at the mall where lately the pickins have been slim(where did half the food court go?!) so we decided to forgo the few meager options and try out Mariachi’s. Their lunch menu has roughly 20 various entrees, all served with rice and beans, with prices varying from $ 6.99 — $ 8.50. Two were on special that day for a mere $ 4.99. I chose an enchilada plate, one chicken, one cheese. My husband got a plate that included a beef taco and a quesadilla. The food was pretty darn tasty. My only minor complaint was the cheese in my enchilada was yellow cheese instead of the traditional white queso, but hey, cheese is cheese. We were in and out in about 35 – 40 minutes for under $ 20. If you’re looking for a mind blowing authentic experience, look elsewhere. But for solid tasty Mexican(or at least what constitutes Mexican cuisine in these parts) Mariachi’s hit the spot!

Service, service, service. Those are probably the three most important words in the restaurant world. Where to start? Let us begin with the interior of the restaurant. It was clean and kept well, that is the definite plus. It is located in the mall and I would think that they would have been a bit busier each of the times I have been there, but I will not complain about a choice in seating. I have been there several times over the years they have been there which I think is about five years if I recall correctly. A few of the times though I have had issue with being able to communicate efficiently with the staff for them to get my orders right. I do not speak spanish, or what I know is not really sufficient to hold a conversation or even place an order. So making sure that they have wait staff that can understand their customers orders would really help a lot. And staying attentive would be nice. When I am the only one or one of say four other tables in the restaurant, if my drink gets empty, there is an issue. On to the food. I have sampled many of their dishes and while I can not say that any of them have been bad to the point of having to send them back, I really can not say that they have given me one of those«food moments» that we foodies strive to get. One of the staples of a good Mexican or Tex /Mex restaurant is their salsa and refried beans. I actually question if either of these two are made from scratch they were so underwhelming. So in summary, I would say if you are at the Mall, give them a try. But not sure they would be worth the drive across town to get to. And that is a shame, they have a LOT of potential there to do more than just«get by».

I came here on a friday night before they got to busy, so being seated and served quickly was nice. We ordered the fajitas for two, and ended up having to take some home. The steak was hot and had a lot of flavor. If you are looking for a good place to have a nice sitdown meal, this is a great place.

This restaurant is horrific! Took 20 min to get my mango daiquiri and when the waitress finally brought it. It was watered down from the ice and it was in a plastic tall cup. And we finally got our food, not Mexican or anything just looked and tasted Lok someone could of made it at home withit knowing how to cook Mexican food. And we waited another 20 minutes for our ticket while the waitress was hanging out at the bar area! Horrible food! Horrible service! Will not be going back!!!

Highlights — In the mall — Full bar, several drink specials — Decent Mexican food. Not 5 star but 3 — 4 star deserved — Good service — Daily specials — Option of medium or spicy salsa — TVs strategically placed to catch a game Probably much better options if you drive up the road to Springdale but not bad.

This may be my favorite TexMex in the area. This place started off of the square in Fayetteville and then about 5 or 6 years ago moved to the mall. I hate that it’s at the mall, but this place is great. Salsa isn’t the best, but most entrees are as good as you get for this area. Fajitas Parrillada are AWESOME! Poblano Queso is really good too. I wish they were still off of the square, but the quality of food has not gone down.

There’s a lot of barely mediocre Mexican food in NWA. The folks at Mariachi’s are a bit above that, so I’m going to give them a 4 star review as compared to the other locals. I have always received nice, attentive service regardless of how long we camped out. We’ve had large party lunches with people coming & going and they’ve never made us feel as though we’re inconveniencing them. Food has been served hot and exactly as requested each time. And for a leisurely lunch with cocktails, the prices cannot be best. Give them a try!

I’ve been here three times and they’re pretty consistent with a couple of things. The food is not so good but the service is great IF you speak Spanish. However if you don’t be prepared to wait and not get what you asked for. The bright spot with this place is the entertainment. Friday nights they have karaōke and you get to watch little drunk guys sing their hearts out to Banda music. Pretty sweet.

Solid. Comparable to most of the good Mexican restaurants in NWA. Nothing to be disappointed with in my visit. There is so much really good Mexican food in NWA that it is hard to differentiate yourself. Mariachi’s is on my list of «will return» Mexican restaurants. Fear not and give em a shot.
