This place was recommended to me by a friend so I gave it a try. Beautiful salon, it was very clean. Friendly staff. Great pedicure.

What a nice place! I love that they take their time and you don’t feel rushed. But more importantly, they take sanitation, cleanliness, health and safety precautions seriously. Thanks for the great service and relaxing foot massage :-)

I just moved to NWA from Anchorage, AK two months ago. The people of Anchorage are very spoiled to have a nail salon called OMG nails. I like thousands of others, had been going there for years, religiously, every two weeks. Anyways, when I moved here it was my goal to find somewhere that could at least somewhat compare. Since I’ve been here I’ve had my nails done 4 times, I never had a great experience until today. I came across Lacquer as an advertisement on FB. They were running a deal for 30% off as a grand opening special, so of course I had to check them out! I drove the 13 miles from Rogers(said I wouldn’t be going that far for a fill EVER) but, 30% is a huge motivator! Haha. I walked in and was pleasantly greeted, and was very impressed with how pretty the salon looked. I had a picture of how I wanted my nails to look and they set me up with a guy named KK. He brought me over what seemed like hundreds of shellac colors to choose from, now THAT is the key to my heart my friends! He was extremely nice, and took his time with my nails, definitely a perfectionist! Needless to say, I am more than willing to drive 13 miles to get my nails done now! AND if it couldn’t get any better they have a punch card! Every 4th service is 20% off! Definitely a win-win! :)

Went here today after seeing the signs out front stating«now open-30% all services!». I am a hairstylist, and I regularly get a pedicure every 2 weeks. Myself and two girlfriends thought it looked appealing and who can turn down 30%? I got a pedicure, one of the girls got a pedi and shellac mani, and the other got a full set acrylic with shellac. We were the only ones in the door and were quickly greeted by what seemed to be the owner, nice guy pretty pushy. He convinced one of the girls to get shellac on her acrylics(which I think is a waste of money if you aren’t a dishwasher for a living). He then convinced the other girl to get a manicure as well. After telling me multiple times I should get a manicure as well, and after multiple no thanks(since I do hair, manicures never work out with all the hair color etc.) he finally gave up. Now onto the actual service– pedicure chairs were comfy, they put plastic liners in their pedicure basins which was a first for me. They didn’t fit right and they had to rip holes in them and they just weren’t doing it for me. Kind of a lazy way to get out of cleaning the pedicure basin if you ask me.(Yeah, they just take the liner out after the water still drains into it, which is still not sanitary to me). The nail tech comes over and greets me, she looks pretty young and seems pretty sweet. She begins my pedicure and right away it is evident to me she doesn’t really know what she’s doing, I can tell she is watching the nail tech next to me to see what to do. About this time a woman and a young man come in. The woman seems to be the owners wife and the young man I’m assuming is the son, he looks to be around 16 – 18. Meanwhile during my pedicure, the tech is removing my cuticles which is beginning to be very painful! Another customer walks in and the young man(16 – 18) yr old starts her pedicure? Hoping he was licensed, hope my girl was too? Maybe she was new and hadn’t done many pedicures out of school? Idk. Just kind of worrisome. Now-my big moment and why I won’t go back-they break out the«cheese grater». Going to cosmetology school and learning about cleanliness these are a big time NO. They are illegal to use and if she had used it on me, someone who gets pedicures every two weeks,(which i told her I didn’t want her to) with virtually no calluses and baby soft feet, she would have shredded my skin and could’ve caused major infection depending on how clean the instrument was. Anyways she semi massages my legs and feet with little enthusiasm, paints my nails, and sends me on my way. Now remember the owner, he checks all 3 of us out. He just asks for our cards and doesn’t tell me the total(which I’m assuming is 30% off) he hands me the receipt to sign and it is $ 25, so I’m thinking hmm guess they have higher prices than most places. We get to the car and I ask what they paid for their services and he gave them both 30% off but not me!!! Not sure if it was because I wouldn’t give in to his manicure suggestion? Anyways, I won’t be back. She did a fine job painting my nails and was very kind, however it was probably the worst pedicure experience I’ve had. If she had a little more training and if the pedicure liner wasn’t involved, and if the«cheese grater» hadn’t been brought out, AND if the owner hadn’t charged me differently than my friends… Maybe MAYBE I would go back. Definitely some kinks to work out.
