I must say I love this business and the people that work there. This place has a very family owned type feel to it. Damn sure not the fast food type service you get at Mens Warehouse. Im a guy so I can only speak on that side of the business.(the store is split 50⁄50 women/men and has a separate yet connected store for what I believe is school uniforms.) Moving on. I first started coming here when I was in high school(im in grad now). They have always been a place that never overlooked the needs of the big man. For gods sake they have polo sizes that actually go into 5x. I’m not that big but I appreciate the addition. They have great dress shirts and you will be hard pressed not to be able to find your size. I only get my dress shirts here BTW. Also they have a great selection of slacks and dress pants.(Full disclosure they have ALOT of selections that I just wont mention considering they aren’t what i wear or look for. So don’t assume that what i detail here is all they have) Plus they have alot of great additions to their stock when the weather changes. I found this great winter pullover they had out that has become apart of my regular attire. I loved it so much i went back and got 2 more. Service: Let me first say that the service for the mens side is outstanding. The men who work there will never be too far from you that you have to go looking for help. But they also aren’t the type to just follow you around and say nothing, only smiling eerily as you wonder if they think you are up to no good. They always have a smile and never let the conversation get boring or tedious. These are the guys you want helping you when you need a good suit and tie. I just bought my first(being 23 i know im late) suit. The jacket was 120 I think and the pants 50. The guy that helped me was awesome. None of the guys working here are the type to tell you, you look good in something when you don’t. If the jacket is too darn tight they have no problem telling you. I like that. I never like people to steer me wrong, especially when it comes to clothes. When I tried on the suit he made sure everything was to my liking. This is the type of place a mother or father can bring their son to when he starts to become a young man. Its the type of place that will give you a great family moment. Dressing/Changing Room: Its a box with a door. LMAO! But what else does a guy need when he is changing clothes? I like how they have mirrors outside so you can see how the clothes move when you’re walking and not just standing. Prices: Their prices aren’t high on the dress shirts and pants. And usually the price on the pants is lower since they seem to always have a special going on. I will say though that the prices on some items like jogging pants were a bit high. $ 22.99 is about 5 dollars more than i wanted to pay. But that’s not bad. Website: It leaves much to be desired. But I remember when their website consisted of their logo and a message saying they were working on it. So ill be happy for small favors. Phone: My suggestion is to either get in your car and make a visit or try smoke signals. When you call the phone will ring… ring…ring…and keep on ringing. This is a great place for a man of any age, size or style. I love it. Like another reviewer said it is a conservative place with a splash of trendy style.

Here’s the thing about J & R… they carry some great Big & Tall menswear and the fitters are super helpful. We bought my husband a new suit last year and they did a fantastic job! Not all menwear stores are great for big guys(as in 58L) They have a really nice selection of expanded sizes as well as extra-length ties. Prices are reasonable and if you’re looking for a fantastic deal on dress shirts, catch one of the tent sales. Also a good place for wide shoes and boots. In terms of men’s Big & Tall casual wear, you’re going to see an awful lot of polos and golf wear. But you can find some sports branded apparel if that’s your thing. The men’s «regular» sized casualware selection is much broader, which is actually kinda frustrating. And the women’s wear is seems to be targeted toward a 50+ crowd that doesn’t mind feathers, polyester and rampant rhinestoning.

J & R Clothing is sort of like Stein Mart without the home accents and with a juniors department. J & R carries apparel and accessories for men and women. The women’s accessories include jewelry, handbags and the men’s section has a large selection of suits. Additionally they also carry Dickie’s, Lee’s and Levis. All in all J & R Clothing is conservative with a splash of trendy fashion.
