When we started with Home Instead the owners promised THEWORLD. They would do «this…this…this…and this». For a good nine months, they had a miracle worker named Jackie G. that really took good care of my mother. THEN, when Jackie G. left, the service went DOWNHILL fast. I found my mother with no groceries in the house, no doctors appointments made, in a diabetic coma and a filthy house. Once I started yelling, complaining and holding them accountable, they quickly sought to end the relationship. You pay more with Home Instead then all their competitors for low grade service. In addition, their owners have low EQ. Both Martha and Sue get overly emotional when an issue arises. I truly believe that Home Instead is in business because of the overwhelming demand of retiring and aging seniors. Not because they are squared away. AWFUL experience. In addition, after not caring for along time and collecting a check… when I tried to separate myself from HomeInstead… they made me feel like a bad son.
