Glamorama

It’s been a good while since I’ve had a salon I’m happy with and Glamorama fits the bill! It’s a serious salon with a lot of fun in the décor.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality. I pay $ 40 before tip for a cut. They do offer product for purchase and I believe they do makeup and private parties also.
I see Brandy and have been very happy. I’ve also met the owner, who was eager to show me around when I fist stopped in to check the place out. In fact, all of the staff has been very friendly and helpful.
So, it’s a great place for good, reasonable services, but what sets it apart as special is the décor. The whole place is done 50s retro. Barbie. Lots of pink & aqua and silver gilding. There’s a killer deco mirror over the fireplace in the «waiting area» as well as a neat collection of 50s Barbie memorobelia. Maybe the capstone is the my-​size Barbie taking a dip in a tub full of Christmas balls in the bathroom. With all that, it could be terribly tacky, but isn’t. They did a great job of balancing a theme with taste and it’s a mood lifter just to be there! I know I’ll keep returning.
