Nice atmosphere and good, fresh sushi presented nicely. I went for lunch. Our food came out quickly. Good service. Want to go back & try dinner

Nom nom nom! Loved this place. Ramen was outstanding and the Godzilla roll was excellent. Will definitely come here again. Great for rainy day or cool date.

Good environment, good specials, fast service. Both meals came with some weird salad on top of different noodle dishes! I guess pad Thai and yakisoba are both complemented by thousand island dressing at this joint. It was clean and the core beer was the highlight of my meal but the yakisoba was worst part of what wholly wa a good experience, the meat was garbage quality and the noodles tasted like ramen.

Love the shrimp appetizer and the sushi. It’s consistent, fast, and tastes good. My only complaints are that the staff seems overwhelmed on busy nights because of the way the place is set up(order at register, sit down, and staff brings the food out) and I haven’t been too impressed with anything else on the menu. I would recommend it if you want some sushi that’s cheap, casual, and tasty.

Asian Fast Casual … If anyone asks me — thats how I would describe it. Definitiely a good place to get an array of asian food from ramen to sushi.

Updating my last review. Dined in this time instead of getting carryout in the past. This was a horrible experience. Apparently you order at the register and sit down. Issue 1) the cashier/order taker had no idea about anything on the menu Issue 2) There were not descriptions on the menu, as far as portion size, type of greens in salad, etc. At her suggestion I got the ginger salad, which was a(premade) bowl of iceburg lettuce that some measly carrots and 2 slices of tomato on top with some ginger dressing. Ate the top half and ran out of dressing for the bottom half. Also, I hate iceburg lettuce but I was starving. Issue 3) The steamed pork buns were nothing like I expected, and I felt cheated for ordering them. If they are not going to be authentic pork buns with asian flavors, then why not put that on the menu or advise your employees to explain? The pork belly buns were basically an american style burger substituted with some pork belly, iceburg lettuce, and mildly spicy mayo, with dill pickle slices from a jar. Not even homemade dill pickles. Also, pork belly does not need the extra fat. Asian pork buns often feature ingredients like hoisin and vinegary slaw, which balance the fattiness of the pork. In a nutshell, I ate one because I was(again) starving and left the other 2 ginormous monstrosities behind. Issue 4) I am really tired of there restaurants that do counter service because they never check on their customers’ meals and experiences, so they seem to not care about customer satisfaction. Had one of the 3 – 5 employees that seemed to have been working(more like chatting) stopped by to check on me, maybe my order could have been changed for something else and I wouldn’t have had to write this review. I guess this place is for college students.

For quick, really good sushi and noodles it can’t be beat. The sushi rolls are solid and priced right. The Yakisoba, Ramen, Pad Thai and other noodles are really good and huge portions.

The employees were friendly and helpful, but that’s really the only positive thing I can see. We ordered a spicy tuna roll to share, my fiancé got the shoyu ramen, and I got a bibimbap(Korean rice bowl) with spicy chicken and traditional spicy sauce. The spicy tuna roll was awful. They do not season their sushi rice from what I can tell so the roll was very bland. It also came out VERY quickly and was cold, so I suspect they make them in advance and refrigerate them. The shoyu ramen was bland. The spicy chicken in my rice bowl was good, but the sauce was not tasty at all. I paid $ 2 extra for the stone bowl because the cashier claimed it «caramelizes the rice,» but no such luck there. The rice was old and stuck together so it was hard to mix together. The flavors just aren’t as complex and delicious as they should be. Everything is kind of toned down and boring. There are much better choices in Fayetteville — I’d highly recommend KJ.

Ramen was ok. Service was good. The prices were a bit much for the quality of the food. Not the best Ramen I’ve eaten by far but not bad either.

We are in town for a basketball tournament & wanted something quick & low key. We found this place & it was awesome. The service was very good & the food was too. We had sushi, some vegetable fried rice & a rice bowl … All VERYGOOD!

Honestly I really like this place I usually always get the ramen or try something new and there isn’t anything bad on the menu. Only thing I would change is amount of toppings to noodles in the ramen, some times I get a good amount of noodles but mostly it’s a small portion of noodles to way too much corn and sprouts. Still highly recommend this place to come for a good meal.

A nice clean atmosphere with plenty of TVs to watch the game. I enjoyed some local beer from Fossil Cove and a bowl of Miso Ramen. The Miso wasn’t too bad, more Ramen would have been nice. I also would have liked it a little spicy, that just means I’ll need to do the spicy next time or a half and half which I’m not sure they do. But back to the ramen, there is only one size which is a little big for most people where you may want to split the order if possible. So take a chance, go try it out and it won’t break the bank.

Came here with my family a week after they opened. Positives: they have giant TVs that we watched while we ate. The décor was pretty nice. The food was about a 3.5÷5. I thought it was pretty good but overpriced for what I got. Negatives: my only real complaint was with the service. You go up to the counter and order and pay, then you sit down and they bring you your food. The gentleman who took the order didn’t seem to know much about any of the food on the menu, and the people who brought our food were kind of awkward and didn’t bring us any silverware(should I have gotten it myself?). Also when they weren’t doing anything(which was most of the time) they just stood by the counter and texted. I know that was kind of a long paragraph, but the service didn’t take away from how good my food was. These noodles aren’t up to par with what we’ve had(we used to live in Japan and my parents have travelled to Korea and China). But it is a very welcome addition to Fayetteville’s dining scene so you should give it a shot.

Like others have said, decent-good food, but for the price meh. I was thinking being that close to the University(and rice and noodles both being among the cheapest meals worldwide) It would be a quick, cheap In and out. It was fast. Tried the Bibimbap(that i lived on for 5 years in Korea) and was shocked you pay for the meal, you pay separate for the meat, and again separate for the Dolsot(stone bowl) All in $ 12 plus tax. It was good, but definitely sweeter than I had in Korea. For that price, go to the KJ place on College for about the same price but with all the included side dishes.

I wasn’t very impressed with my Ginger experience. The service was good but the food was mediocre. The menu is over priced relative to quality and quantity. The menu has a fair selection but isn’t very original. The food tasted okay but the portion was small compared to other local Asian food venues. The service was fine but the food needs improvement.

Welcome Ginger Rice & Noodle Bar! My partner and I decided to eat lunch at this establishment after visiting the Farmer’s Market. We had high expectations given that it is the same owners as Shogun & Wasabi. The décor elegant and simple; it was spot-on with what we had in mind. I ordered the Korean rice bowl(bib-im-bap) while my partner had the udon noodles. Our food came promptly after ordering and was piping hot. Both dishes were fantastic. They had loads of flavors! The crisp toppings were a nice touch. Overall, we had a great meal. The only con is the price, it’s on the expensive side for a noodle house.
