Genie Nail

So I am off work, in need of a little ‘me’ time, I head south where my favorite cheap shops reside.
Genie Nails totally out did themselves. No appointment necessary, so I walk in and I am immediately seated. I felt as though I received VIP treatment, in my 10 years or so getting my nails done I can’t remember the last time I’ve been this satisfied. Usually I have to go home and apply an extra coat of clear polish to get the shiny appeal that I love so much, or fix a nail that they didn’t square but this time no post-​manicure adjustments were needed.
I hate how at most salons there are about 4 other women standing around watching you get your nails done and speaking in another language. To me getting my nails done is a time for me to relax and enjoy getting catered to; and having women gossip over me while I am trying to escape the chaos of the outside world drives me up a wall. Well at Genie’s I didn’t have this problem. I was able to relax without loud talking, and without the normal audience watching over me, I even got in my hour of ‘One Life to Live’ on their HUGE flat screen.
This is the best service I’ve received in, well, ever and I am planning on returning in two weeks ;-)
