I waited for an hour to be seen(why do they make appointments anyway?). I was a short term patient of Dr. Katz. I went in with my history all typed up and he did not even consider my problem being something else. He concurred with another doctor and I don’t believe my problem is what they say. He prescribed a $ 100 cream(he knew I had a high deductible) and an antihistamine that I was suppose to take every six hours. I told the nurse my pharmacist and went on my way. The prescriptions was called in to the wrong place and also it was called in WRONG. If I am to take this medication every six hours why did they prescribe ONE pill??? I have lost all faith in doctors after this year of going to 3 different dermatologists and my regular doctor. They are all in it for the money… I have YET to find one who actually cares about their patients.

Got there at 2:05 for a 2:10 appointment as a new patient. Should have known there would be a problem when they had 10 new patients ahead of us scheduled since staff was back from lunch at 1:00. Was called back to see the doctor at 3:15. Finally saw Dr. Katz at 3:45. He had great style and manner in handling our concerns, but clueless that any of his patients were waiting on him. Finally got out of the doctor’s office at 4:17. Said good bye to the poor schmucks who had gotten there for 3:00 appts and were still waiting to be called back.
