Stayed at Fairfield the night before in FL and it was great. Driving up 95 when we saw the sign for this Fairfield Inn location we decided to stop. First our room was $ 20 more expensive then it was the night before. The room was nice and clean. We had a microwave and a refrigerator. Our fridge wasn’t plugged in. The bath room was small and the shower had the annoying bathtub. I liked the walk in shower the other Fairfield had. Also the water pressure sucked in our room(sink and shower) Giving this 3 stars because of the price increase and small bathroom and lack of water pressure.

I stayed here on a business trip. The hotel is clean but my biggest disappointment is the transportation. They informed me that they have a shuttle which takes you to and from the airport which is a 15– 20 minute ride. However, there is no shuttle and I had to pay for a cab. Each time I ask to speak to a manager or supervisor they’re never there. I’m not pleased with their customer service. I would not stay here again. Next time I’ll have my job book me at the holiday inn across the street.

Stayed here last night. I’ve never been disappointed with Marriott properties and this one exceeded my expectations for the price of $ 107.00 with AAA discount. Room was clean and quiet. King room very large with couch. Large bathroom with separate sink area nice water pressure. Fast Internet. Easy check in. Stayed here on way back to PA from FL. Ruby Tuesdays close with reasonable prices. I would stay here again on a trip south.

I spent two nights at the Fairfield In on Cedar Creek Rd., in Fayetteville, NC, this week and I will definitely stay there again if I find myself in Fayetteville. Outside: The parking is free and adequate. The grounds are very well kept and the building looks well-maintained. It is next to a tiny cemetary, which made it a little weird when getting into my car and facing a tombstone. There are gas stations nearby and a Shoney’s within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping within a 5 minute drive. Lobby: The lobby is simple, comfy and clean. I enjoyed the free waffles for breakfast and the OJ is decent. Being from Florida, I’m a little picky about my OJ. OJ and Cranberry juice is available at all times. There is a flatscreen, usually with the news on, if you want to something to watch in the lobby. Rooms: My room(King) was great. The hotel seems like it must have been updated recently, because the décor is very elegant and fresh. My bed was extraordinarily comfortable, the tv was a plasma, the internet was fast and free, and I had coffee tables and a sofa. I loved the fact that the alarm clock plays relaxing sounds if you need help sleeping. The bathroom was nice, with a deep tub and modern fixtures. I also had a big mini-fridge and a microwave. I didn’t use them, but appreciated the options. There was an iron and ironing board, which came in handy. The only negative was that my phone didn’t work. Since I asked for my wake up call at the front desk, they were kind enough to come to my room to wake me up. Service: The service was what gave this hotel a solid four stars in my book. Specifically, Amelia at the front desk was helpful every step of the way. She helped me on the phone before I arrived and when I got there. One night, I got lost on the way to the hotel and she stayed on the phone with me for over 20 minutes, navigating me every step of the way, all while still running the front desk! She is a real assett to this hotel. I did not use the fitness room or pool(assuming they have both).

I remember back when I was a wee lad, we had a neighbor that had a bug zapper. I remember being mesmerized by the loud buzzing noise, and the loud popping of the exploding insects. It was entertaining. Upon entering this hotel room, I was greeted with the same loud buzzing noise upon hitting the light switch. It made me realize that without the aroma of baked mosquito, it’s much less charming. Ironically, the TV also made the same annoying buzzing background noise which certainly put a damper on my Law and Order watching experience. This hotel is pretty bad. I almost clicked 2 stars, but then thought to myself… «Self…Why are you being so generous?» This goes beyond merely disliking. I realize that it’s not the Four Seasons, but based on other Marriott Fairfield Inns that I’ve stayed at… This is the worst one by far. Along with the bug zapper mounted above the entry there are numerous other minor complaints. –the internet is slow as molasses –the walls, ceilings, and floors are paper thin, I think i heard the person next door coughing up a lung. –the beds are terribly uncomfortable –the room smells like mildew –they didn’t stick my bill under the door like they do in every other marriott property I’ve stayed at –the fitness room is small enough to make it uncomfortable for two strangers to be in there at the same time. –Also, there is nothing to wipe the equipment down with in the fitness room. –The alarm clock radio is broken, so I was forced to wake up to the loud annoying«buzzer». –The room looks old and worn out, and there are faint brown stains on the wall. –The towels didn’t smell fresh. –The shower made an annoying whining noise when using it. You could certainly do much better than this place.
