First time at this salon and the last time!!! I was charged $ 90 to color my roots and a blowout that’s ridiculous!!! I have paid $ 60 at other Dominican salons for more work than what I got at this salon!!! It’s a shame because the owner was nice and the lady who worked on my hair but I will never go there again!!!

Quoted me one price and tried to charge me more after. There products are not good for African American hair.

Prior to coming here to get my hair done for a wedding I had never gotten a Dominican blow out. I had heard the stories, and was just hoping that I could stand the constant heat from the blow dryer on my scalp. I have very thick, past the shoulders, natural hair. I had not had my hair professional done in over a year and a half, but had flatironed my hair myself probably 4 –6 times in that time frame. First I have to say that the conditioner that was used in my hair was absolutely amazing! The stylist put it in and I could immediately comb through and detangle my hair. I was shocked. They put me under the hair steamer for 10 minutes which I loved. It took my stylist about 30 – 40 minutes to blowout my hair. I honestly didn’t think I was going to make it because I am really tender headed. Having to sit there for that long with a hot a$& dryer on my scalp was very challenging. I’m sure dealing with all this hair was equally challenging for the stylist so I definitely appreciate her patience even though I know that’s her job. Another thing I noticed is that they didn’t use a whole lot of styling products to complete the look. After 15 minutes of flat ironing, honey my hair was runway ready. Super straight, light and bouncy! I loved the end results! After 2-weeks, my hair is still straight. :-) Don’t know how often I would put myself through that for straight hair, but for those who are less tender headed I would definitely recommend going to this salon!
