Denny’s

factory of sadness. avoid and go to lucy’s diner down the road. The manager cant manage. The Cooks cant cook. The Waitresses cant waitress. and the dining area is filthy as well. Let me put it this way: if you want a new found appreciation for fresh air and an excitement about life you havent felt since high school, exit the restaurant after attempting to have a meal here. You will LOVE leaving and never coming back.

Showed up and they were only accepting cash. Didn’t come prepared for that, too much of a hassle. Went down the road to Lucy’s instead, they easily handled my service.

Wow this was bad. Rude looks from staff at desk that seated us. Took about 25 minutes after we ordered to get food then we were told there were no bananas for the banana and pecan pancakes. Waitress traded with another who never checked on us. Saw a couple come in and they sat them at a table that had not yet been cleaned. Serving staff were just short of «tossing» food on tables. Cooks were having to repeat things to servers several times even though all the guests could hear it fine. Server behind counter told cook that she would at it to he list of 1000 things to do when an order was ready. Good taste was alright but mine tasted like it had either a bit of burnt egg or bacon in it.

I tried calling in my order no one answered he phone. So I drove over. I made a to go order. They gave me meat vs the veggie burger I orders. I had to drive back over because they still weren’t answering the phone. They said they were swamped, but one half of the restaurant was was empty. A gentleman (manager?) said some of the cooks were new. I pointed out thst id they could not tell the difference between meat and a veggie burger then they need to be fired. The gentleman offered me free to go when he was there. However since I live far away that was pointless.
When they remade my food they forgot the avocado, but they remembered my bourbon barbecue sauce this time. So basically they owe me $.50 or something.
They were very very nice, but that does not make up for such ineptitude.
