It was a pleasurable dining experience… However They did not serve the rolls until the meal came… The Germany Riesling is a must!!! I would recommend it for s nice dining experience. They also just started serving IPA beers /imported beers for you beer lovers!

New menu. The menu has changed adding some great additions to the traditional great items. If you haven’t been you should try it, if you haven’t been recently you should try it again.

Never been before, was a very disappointing experience! Waited a very long time to be greeted at our table, our waiter was no were to be found 90% of the time unless we asked for him! When he responded it felt like it was in passing! My steak was ordered med well came out extremely well done, husbands was medium and good. After waiting 15 min for him to check on us I did send it back and got a new one he waited for me to cut into it, it was good! Never seen him again till we asked for him, asked for box for our food! He dropped off the bill and 2 seconds picked it up, I kindle responded we hadn’t looked at it! Waited again for him to pick it up! As we were leaving I asked to speak to management, she got the owner, I explained our situation he said this waiter was one of his best!(Really) he said he wished I had asked for him sooner he would have comped some of our bill! I told him it was difficult enough to to get service! He gave us a $ 25 gift card! Not sure when we will go back, may give the gift card to family to use!

This place was probably fancy in 1988 or something, you know? You walk in, and it’s trying super hard to be fancy but once you get a magnifying glass, you’re like, wait a minute… this place is actually kind of falling apart and gross. Whoa… is that… scum on the walls? Is that wallpaper peeling the hell off the walls? What is HAPPENING in this place? Everyone is dressed to the nines, expecting ME to be wearing, what… a dress? In this gross place? Okay, so… the ambience is confusing and wrong. The food is pretty darn good. In fact, the food is some of the best food you’ll find in the Fayetteville area… once you get past the cheap, store-bought cheese and crackers(from an actual package, the kind you got in middle school) as a starter. They have fine cuts of steak and they start you off with the kind of fake cheese and cheap crackers you get at a field trip to the zoo in 3rd grade. Are you kidding me? And why is the whole salad bar the size of a thimble? The pricing structure is all off… this place wants to be fancy but shouldn’t be. Don’t go chasing NYC Fine Dining, please stick to the Ruby Tuesdays and the TGIF’s that you’re used to…

**Update** Came here for a second time this past weekend and I have to say the food seemed much better than when I first came(mind you, I rated this a 3 last time and now bumped it to a 4). Came in with my husband and he was surprised as well from how nice it is on the inside, since the outside does give a different impression. Anyway same as the last visit, we both agreed the cheese«thing» and crackers seemed a bit odd. Husband didn’t mind, apparently he loves stick crackers and ate all of them in 10 minutes Lol Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive. We both ordered the special they had that night, filet mignon, stuffed shrimp and sweet potatoes. Although it was pricey($ 36 per plate) we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The steak was amazing and the knife cut through it like butter. So delicious. Husband wasn’t too thrilled with the stuffing that was on the shrimp. The flavors reminded me of a Charleston style crab cake(peppers & celery) as opposed to a Maryland styled. I enjoyed the flavors though. My only regret was not ordering dessert. Overall very pleased, not a place we can afford to come often, but it will make for another date night/special event restaurant.

This is a lovely old school restaurant where folks can enjoy a full on dining experience and actually hear one another. Crackers with delicious butter are served while you wait for dinner. Yes, young hipsters, this was common and appreciated back in the day, and still is by those of us who appreciate the(complimentary) small things in life. The salad bar was ample with everything you would want to make a great salad and the dressings were delicious. The prime rib and filet were both flavorful, cooked to perfection and mouth watering. Will definitely go back.

Debra Lee did a great job. Service was exceptional! Food was very good. One major recommendation– Bread should be served with salad not THE just the meal. Other than that great visit. I would visit again for sure! Salad bar was excellent!

Went to this restaurant last night for a birthday dinner and Valentines night. I had the Filet Mignon and it was cooked perfectly. The stuffed potato was just okay. Tasted like it had been under a warning light too long. The salad bar is extremely small and the salad plates are super tiny as well. Only 4 dressings to choose from. Our waitress never brought out bread to the table. She also never refilled our beverages or asked if I wanted another glass of wine. My overall opinion is that this is a place you go to «be seen at» not eat at. Almost as if they are trying so hard to be «fine» dining that quality of service is forgotten. I would eat here again however I do believe I can get a great steak and great service at Texas Roadhouse and save some money. Oh and the complimentary cheese spread is served with captains crackers which just felt cheap.

I went to this restaurant with my mother fire Mother’s day dinner. This restaurant is known for their prime rib. My patents ordered the prime rib. The waiter comes out with rib eyes. The waiter comes back and says they’re out of prime rib. AREYOUSERIOUS?! My parents had to change their orders(not a pretty picture). I’ve been coming Jette for years and I’ll tell you the quality of food has gone down DRASTICALLY. It will be a very long time before I come back here. It’s a shame. This place used to be 1 of my favorite places. Ugh.

The cheese and crackers are a bit strange for a place like this. I think they should just bring out the rolls and muffin they were tasty. My steak(filet) was kinda bland and tough. Was also pretty rare for what I asked. My husbands ny strip was also a little tough. The place is pretty and felt comfy and romantic. Our waitress was really sweet and helpful. So to sum it up the food is not spectacular for the money but great service and good drinks. Will return for the atmosphere.

After having many locals rave about Chris’s, we decided to check it out. We were very disappointed. It was fine dining, Fayetteville style — meaning Sizzler-style salad bar, crackers on the table, and over cooked veggies to accompany a poorly cooked and unseasoned steak.

What the hell is going on here? I stopped here after the gym with my boyfriend and our friend thinking it was a kick back, super chill steak house. We based our assumption on the neon sign flashing about on the side of the joint, with it being almost out on the other. Then BAM! You walk in and it’s fancy… but not really. It’s just the initial impression they give you but once you take a second to look at the details you realize it’s just trying to look fancy. We were definitely under dressed coming straight from the gym. Regardless, the staff was polite and attentive. Our overall service was prompt. Diving more into how this place is having an identity crisis… they offered cheese and crackers as a complimentary starter. What came out looked like airplane crackers and cheese whiz… in fact, I’m sure it was cheese whiz. Our main entrees were decent and disappointing at the same time. I only say this because of the price. The food was good but definitely not worth what we paid for it. This place would be better off going for a more causal vibe. You really can’t pass yourself off as a fancy, high end restaurant when it’s a part if a shopping strip, with a cheap exterior and your staff hosing down the open kitchen in the diners’ view.

Despite everything else, this family owned restaurant does everything to make sure your meal is perfect. I had a slight slip up while I was there last night with my entire family and the manager(the owner’s daughter) went above and beyond for my family, and will keep us as customers for another 8 years.

In Fayetteville, there aren’t many good choices for almost-fine dining. Chris’ Steakhouse is one of the better selections in town. Their bison rib eye is very good and reasonably priced. My wife had the stuffed flounder and the portion size was generous and tasted great. The sauteed mushrooms were a hit as well. Nice atmosphere for dining as well as side rooms for larger parties.

MEH. Restaurant pretends to be high end but is just so-so. I ordered a sangria from the bar, which is supposedly one of their«famous» drinks. It was the worst sangria I’ve ever had! They bring out captains crackers as the free appetizer! Out entrees were decent, but nothing special. Service was slow.

Possibly the most overrated restaurant in the area. Food was good, but not exceptional. Steak was prepared correctly, nothing special. Waiting staff was decent. I got the fillet, as I normally do, and I would call it par.

This was a very forgettable experience. It was not horrible or even bad, but it did not impress the way I expected. The salad bar OK. The steak was maybe a little better than OK. The baked potato was OK. Nothing was bad but nothing was impressive. They had a limited wine list but the martini my girlfriend ordered was very tasty! Overall for Fayetteville it is OK. If this were in a culinary powerhouse like Raleigh, Charlotte, or Charleston than it is not even worth a thought, but since this is Fayetteville… ehhh

I run a social media marketing company and I eat out TOOMUCH. I was on the road to do some YouTube filming for the BioDome with some Army Special Forces hush-hush types and it was time to eat. They suggested this joint. This place is a gem! Here is why: * Awesome, throw-back décor with dark wood accents * Throw-back, all-you-care-to-eat salad bar right inside the front door * Cool lounge, hot bartender * Plenty of outdoor seating * The food came highly recommended and delivered! * Friendly, helpful and attractive wait staff * Great FOOD! I had a delicious end-cut of prime rib that came with the REAL horseradish sauce – YUMMO! * They have this cheese spread(mixed with cheddar and cream) that comes in a lil bowl with bread-sticks accompaniment that is tre-addictive! Enjoy! Cabeza, OUT!

The place looks blah from outside, but when you walk in – surprisingly, it’s quite fancy. The boyfriend and I wanted a good steak, so we decided to give this place a try. We ordered the dinner for two special with dessert and the salad bar. Um, now that I remember, you know what — we never actually got our desert with our food. I guess that is how disappointing dinner was… we just wanted to pack the food, pay, and get out! Salad bar was alright — nothing too special. We both got our steaks medium-rare and yes, they were pretty good, thick, and juicy, but for the price we paid? I think I would’ve been just as pleased at Texas Roadhouse or Outback. I got the twice-baked potato, which was good. and my boyfriend got the sweet potato. He initially requested some brown sugar to go on the side and the waiter gladly obliged to bring some with our dinner, but ho hum, halfway into our meal — we were still waiting on the brown sugar. We requested it from another waitress who said she’d be back shortly and well, another 15 minutes later — we’re left brown sugar-less. CHECKPLEASE! Initially when we were seated, I was kind of excited. I mean, the atmosphere was romantic and very appropriate for a date night, but the prices just didn’t equate with the service and quality. Our waiter was friendly in the beginning, then started slacking once we got our steaks. He pretty much only came back once and we were way past ready for the check. As for drinks — sadly, we enjoyed those more than the food lol. I ordered the red sangria, which was good. Actually, it was really yummy and I’ll have to give them that — it was strong and I got a great buzz going during dinner. My boyfriend got a Long Island w/iced tea and that was pretty good too. We won’t be back, but at least the boyfriend and I made the best out of the dinner and had a few good laughs over the whole experience.
