Charlie’s Chicken

I used to really like this place. They had great chicken, tender chunks of breast meat done up nice and crisp and great side items. My mom and I would sneak away sometimes and just have a nice quiet lunch of really good food.
Well, this last time I went, it was something very different. The chicken was stringy and tough, my green beans were cold and flavorless, and my rolls were hard and old tasting. It was really disappointing, as I was bringing it home to my in laws for a taste of what was supposed to be «great chicken», but I should have just gone up the street to their favorite, Popeye’s and saved myself a little money and a little embarrassment at talking up this place and getting so let down. I most likely, wont be back.

I love this place. Great Fried Chicken, and a fast convenient cafeteria style setting.
Not romantic, or trendy.
But, really really good chicken.
I get the 4 piece my wife gets the chicken «chunks»
Did I mention the chicken is really good?
