I like Dr. Idrissi. However, I cannot understand how a physician and PhD allows this motley crew of «support» staff to run his office(s). I have been a patient at both the Benson and Fayetteville locations. Just like the Benson location, it is dated, small and smelly. The other review is: In that review, I referenced the physical therapy that their screw up delayed literally for weeks! I became a patient during the April/May timeframe; I have had numerous issues making appointments and a physical therapy referral. I have Tricare and like all government insurance programs, they pay bottom dollar. Obviously, the clinic isn’t going to give you an appointment until it is approved by your insurance(understandable), but I didn’t realize the multiple times the clinic blamed Tricare for the delays, it was partially because THEY never submitted it. It’s readily apparent by speaking to the staff they aren’t all that switched on. I waiting to be scheduled for a nerve block and was told they would call me when it was approved. I kept calling and asking if they had received authorization. Nope. The answer was«Tricare is behind». Uh, okay. Well, after a few weeks of that(BTW, I am in pain!), I called Tricare. Nope, no request in for me. I drove over and spoke to the receptionist in person. No one there for me to discuss this with. I don’t have time to call and call and call and drive out to correct this cluster. Matter of fact, some of the times I called, it would just ring. There was no voice mail, answering service, nothing. At one point, I thought maybe the DEA shut them down. Finally, the lady calls me back and says SHE was behind in submitting requests to Tricare. At least she was HONEST which is more than I could get from anyone else. I asked her WHOISINCHARGETHERE??? Apparently, the office«manager», Kim, works at a different site. Hmm… well, left two messages for good olé Kim and she’s never found the time to call me back. It’s totally understandable since she is supposed to be the practice manager for a pain clinic to ignore a patient’s call. Some other random employee calls me about 4:30p(shocking to me that any of them were at work) to TELL me I have an appointment for my nerve block at 0930 this next day. Uh, let me see. I have this really aggravating thing called a JOB that gets in my way. Further, their own protocol requires me to have a driver. All of the people I am associated with have the same annoying issue — — a JOB! I told her, hey, I can’t come in the next morning. Her smart ass rudely says, «well, you don’t want your procedure done?!» Look, I know most of their bottom feeding patients don’t have jobs and couldn’t remember the last time they did, but I actually do. They f’d up, never submitted my procedure request to insurance, then want to turn around and act like I am the issue. At no point did any of these employees muster an apology. I show up a week and a half later for the procedure. I was experiencing a lot of discomfort and radiating pain down my arm. I filled out all the paperwork, waited my hour in the packed waiting room and head back for my NECK procedure. I talked to the nurse about NECK pain. I start to take off my shirt and then I hear, «oh you don’t need to take your shirt off». Uh, how is he going to inject my neck w/my clothes on? She says, «we are treating your hip today.» At that point after all the crap, delays, and incompetence I have dealt w/for months and now this?! She came back about 15 minutes later and they determined my neck nerve block WAS approved. I am not sure if it was or not and I really don’t care. I ended up having the procedure done w/minimal relief. Again, I think Dr. Idrissi is a good doctor, but I WARN anyone who is going there you have to ride this place and follow – up like your life depends on it. And if you are there for pain management, your quality of life does depend on it. I am already MONTHS into my treatment and starting over elsewhere would take a bunch of time and additional hassle that I don’t have. However, I could not recommend this inept practice to anyone who has a choice to look for a different provider.
