I came in to grab a few things and the owner was punching in lottery tickets for another person which took forever. Most establishments make the customers fill out a bet slip so the other customers dont have to wait in line.

I have enjoyed pizzas here over 20 years ago and they were great. I have not ate here since do to competition with pricing in my own area on other local pizza places. I got an Entertainment Book recently from my brother for Christmas. The book came with a 50% off pizzas on a carryout for Tweeny’s. I ordered a large square dish pizza with peperoni, ham bacon, and mushrooms. The person on the phone said«no bacon». That is OK with me. I ordered the large square pizza with just peperoni, ham, and mushrooms, extra cheese and extra sauce. I picked up the pizza 20 minutes as scheduled OK. When I presented my 50% off coupon to the store… They said that the 50% off coupon was only good for«round pizzas only». I told him that the coupon clearly did NOT specify«round only» on the coupon and that I felt that it should have been more clear if that was an issue. The owner(I believe) told me that this was a «specialty pizza» and the coupon was NOT good on this type of pizza… I sucked it all up and came home while paying«FULLPRICE» on the pizza. I got a menu with my pizza and could clearly see when I got home that all prices were the very same whether they were round, square, or deep dish. I got terrible service, and the pizza was undercooked and average at best. Never again to this place ever.

I love this place! They have anything and everything anyone could ask for. Great liquor selection, especially when it comes to the fine scotch. Highly recommend this place. Ask for Mark, or Chase, and they will take care of you.

Instead of ordering pizza from Pronto, Jet’s, Domino’s, or picking up a Little Caesars Hot and Ready, I decided to give Tweeny’s a shot. When I went in to pick up the pizza the place seemed like any ordinary local party store. Beer, wine, chips, lottery, etc, but they also had pizza by the slice, deli meat, and a host of other food on their menu like subs, salads, and gyros. The atmosphere was pretty cozy with beer and liquor paraphernalia adorning the walls with some tables and chairs set up. I ordered a large thin crust pepperoni pizza which cost about $ 10. It was about the same size as a Hot and Ready– 14 inches I’d say. If you like sweet pizza sauce, Tweeny’s is a place to try, but if not, then don’t waste the ten bucks. It’s not like the pizza was bad or anything, I’m just not a fan of sweet tasting pizza sauce. However, I wouldn’t be opposed to trying their ribs or gyros in the future which I have heard are pretty good.
