Despite the one negative review on Unilocal,I chose to try Molly Maid of Farmington for a first home cleaning. I was quoted $ 170 to $ 340 for my home, but was charged $ 514.50, almost double what they had quoted me.
Additionally, two things of ours were broken by the maids during the cleaning, and I was charged for the services before my complaint was addressed. I understand accidents can happen, but I think it’s bad form to charge someone first without discussing the problems with the service rendered. Suffice to say, I am not impressed and will not use them again.

I would not recommend molly maid of Farmington valley. I was a customer of theirs for about one year and cleaning quality varied significantly from cleaning to cleaning. On several occasions they did not arrive on time and also smelt like smoke. The last straw was that I noticed something missing from my house right after a cleaning. Spare yourself some time and frustration and go with a different company.
