The salon I normally go to was booked, so I thought I would try out this place. That was a mistake. They use nail filers to prep nails, which took a while. I chose a French manicure– the white tip came out crooked. However, the main issue was that in one week, two of my gel nails came off. I have been getting gel nails for years and NEVER had this happen. Two nails in one week. I went back to the salon and the owner did replace them. However, within a day another nail came off right before my Christmas pictures! It has been about two weeks since my first visit and I have currently lost 6 nails! This is outrageous! I want my $ 60 back!

This is my go to nail place. Unlike some of the other reviews I have never had a problem with my mani or pedi(natural nails). The place always looks clean. The only negative thing I would have to say is there is a gentlemen that seems to always be outside smoking(right by the front door) and is not friendly at all not a good first impression to say the least. Needless to say I have been going for years and have never had a bad experience.

Wanted to try a new nail salon to switch things up, so I booked an appointment at Joy Nails, thinking since it was in a nice town in Farmington; boy was I wrong. The first sign that I should have left was when I walked in and said I had a reservation for 3 and the employees looked at me like I was mad. I guess nobody actually wrote us into the book. The next sign I should have left was when they said that they do not do acrylics, although they claimed over the phone that they could give me a fill, no problem. So the woman convinced me that gel would be much better for my nails, I was willing to try something new, but had I known they didn’t have the proper tools to remove my acrylics, I never would have sat there for TWOHOURS, to have my nails manually shaved down. Basically my nails came out looking cheap and terrible and chipped within hours. About a week later, my pinky nail chipped so bad that I lost 75% of my nail. Currently I am walking around with my nail bed exposed in excruciating pain, every day. I would love to dispute this purchase on my card, it was hands down the worst manicure I have ever had in an unprofessional environment. There was a woman giving a massage in the middle of the room! What even? Anyway, I don’t recommend this salon at all. 2 hours of pure torture and a broken nail.

Customer service definitely has gone down hill since they have opened. I booked a dual mani/pedi to relax and chat with a friend– this was not happening because the 2 techs were loudly and completely engrossed in their conversation They would not shut up! To make matters worse– a third tech got involved in the convo. Although they do give a very good pedicure and manicure many salons to choose from to come back here.

Tried this place on a whim and at the recommendation of a friend who goes here sometimes. Must say… EXCELLENT! Clean salon, friendly staff, and it’s not just a rush pedicure and get you out the door. The prices are reasonable, the massages of the feet followed by a massage in the chair as my toes were drying had me sold!

I can’t rave enough about this place. The facility is clean, the staff is amazingly efficient and friendly. They do take a long time to do their work, but I always feel totally pampered — and that’s the whole idea, isn’t it? I will pretty much go nowhere else for a pedicure!

Best place ever for manicures and pedicures. You should make an appt but they do take walk ins. They always give superb neck and back massages as a regular part of their s
