I visit the Grand ofter with my kids for a quick dinner. Great food, great family, great customer service. It is a nice alternative to «chain» eateries.

Great sandwiches! It’s nice to have something new/different in downtown Farmington. They have many sandwich options — it was hard to make up my mind! My boyfriend and I both enjoyed ours and will be back! The baked goods all looked amazing and we went for cookies this time. They were delicious and fresh.

I really wanted to like this place as I think we need something like this in town. But they missed in a lot of ways. First, the customer experience could be improved by providing more information. The very first item on the menu(Breakfast Baked Casserole Omelet) has no description with it, and the girl behind the counter didn’t know anything about it, either. The sandwiches come in «Regular» and«Supreme»; I assume Supreme means larger(half vs. whole?) but again, they don’t say. Likewise, the cupcakes and many of the other baked goods on display had no description and/or prices listed. I ordered the Everyday Plate — 2 eggs, bacon and toast. Instead of the eggs sitting attractively side-by-side on the plate, these were folded over on themselves and one was plopped on top of the other.(Wish I’d thought to take a picture.) One yolk was broken and running all over. The bacon was very good, but cold; it obviously had been cooked some time ago. A few seconds in the microwave would have helped a great deal. They do let you choose your toast from their wonderful selection of artisan breads. I chose the ciabatta, and it was delicious(but the oily butter substitute they put on it was not). I was very surprised that this did not come with potatoes. At $ 8.95 it was WAY overpriced. The sandwiches looked good, so I would give them another chance. I know they just opened and are still working out the kinks.

Fine and uninspired food. Friendly staff. Outdoor seating and loads of space. No wifi oddly enough. Ok coffee.

Been here twice now. Both times, I had friendly service and good food. The baked goods are fresh, made in house and tasty. I’ve tried the cream-sickle cookie(reminds me of a childhood«ice-cream-truck cream-sickle» mixed in a sugar cookie) and the chocolate pecan bar(pretty much the bomb). The«Typical Turkey» sandwich is definitely a cut above the rest. You can choose between like 6 or 7 bread options(I chose pumpernickel) and there’s a nice Boar’s Head brand of Turkey with a couple slices of apple-hardwood-smoked bacon and some fresh lettuce leaves packed inside. Bread was toasted to perfection, just a little too much butter on there for my liking. However, I usually take mine dry and I wasn’t asked if I wanted it buttered. So, if you specify how you like yours, it’ll probably be just the way you want it. A nice, crisp pickle accompanied my sandwich, but they have chips, cookies and a nice variety of baked goods to add on to your meal. Overall, very happy with the food and service I’ve received here thus far. I’ll definitely frequent the place. It’s a great addition to downtown Farmington and really a diamond waiting to be discovered by the masses.

Just tried this brand new place in Farmington. Grand Bakery & Café. I don’t usually say this about a salad, but it was absolutely delicious. Had everything I like, bacon, mushrooms, and eggs. Super delish and only $ 6, too! People were very friendly, also.
