Worse place I ever been to, on December 21st2015, I bought a pair of Coach Frame for my daughter, the guy(owner) told me it will take up to two weeks to get the glasses, his wife said to me that I could take the frames with me since it was a Christmas gift for me daughter and they will call me as soon as they have the glasses so I could bring back the frames to get it done, not to mention the guy(I don’t know his name) he is very rude and obnoxious, made me pay in full for the frames wouldn’t get adorn payment, I didn’t care to pay in full, I understand I’m taking the product to put it on a gift box but the way he asked for me to pay is what it bothers me, I’m not a thief, I got two pairs for myself, one thru my insurance and one out of packet, another pair of Coach and paid $ 280.00 for him to be so obnoxious and tell me he couldn’t trust me, so why did I trust him when I got my pair of Coach and the very first day, one of the glasses pop out while I was driving??? And I had to bring it back and he wouldn’t give me any warranty in writing all the said was«I’m not going anywhere» Webern here for 30 years. Really!!! Maybe is time to retired since you can’t give a good customer service to your clients Today 01-16-201626DAYSLATER! I called to find out where are my daughters glasses are and the person that answer couldn’t locate her name on file and hung up on me, I called again and he put me on hold, the woman answer(wife/owner) asked for my name and phone number and claimed she will call me back, she better call me back today if not this will go to BBB(Better Business Bureau) and Consumer Affair, I’m not playing games with anyone. I’m pissed off now TRYTOSTAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE, NOTWORTHTHEAGGRAVATION. I went there in person today 01−16−16 to return the frame and ask for my money back and the guy name Joe(owner) told me there is no refunds at all, I said is your mistake, your wife admitted not ordering my lenses, What if I didn’t call today to find out? You wouldn’t even bother to order them, once again he is so rude told me he wouldn’t give me my money back because he didn’t want to end of story, had the nerve to blame it on his employee, I told him not to do that because he was the one that took the order, he was the one that took my two 100 dollar bills not his employee and since he wouldn’t give me my money back I had to call the cops, Nassau police showed up and he officer explained nicely that due to health regulations by health department, frames, mattresses and food can not be return, he said if you buy food and return it they will throw it out, same with eye frames and mattresses, I said to the office, okay I understand what you’re telling me but WHY they couldn’t explained this to me instead of being so rude and telling me no because I don’t want to? I’m an educated person I understand PLUS it should be a sign at the stores with this regulation plus it should be on the receipt to, I showed my receipt to the officer and it doesn’t read anything. Live and learn I said, not every person in the world knows about this regulation by health department, I made the woman to give me a written note assuring me the glasses will be ready on Tuesday January 19th2016 and told her to talk to her husband and make him understand that he needs to learn people skills and threat his clients with respect. The customer service provided was horrendous. I purchased a Groupon that stated it included 2 boxes of contacts and a contact exam. The Groupon stated«Contacts option will include 2 boxes of standard non astigmatic contact lenses & will not include toric, bifocal or hard lenses.» It said nothing about a specific brand of contacts or that it wouldn’t include daily contact lenses. When I walked in I was told this Grouon could only be redeemed for«Acuvue 2» contact lenses and nothing else. I brought a print out with me but the woman«helping» me just wouldn’t hear anything I said. She just kept stating that daily lenses are«premium lenses» and that the Groupon didn’t cover them… even though it clearly states«$ 88 for one eye exam for contacts(a $ 125 value) and two boxes of standard contact lenses(a $ 140 value; a $ 265 total value)» — daily contact lenses cost $ 65 per box(approximately) well within the value stated. The woman started getting loud and nasty saying that I was being rude and disrespectful even though she was the one yelling at me. I told her it was rude of her to be dishonest and not honor what was clearly written in the Groupon. I walked out telling her I’d never been treated so poorly as a customer but she had nothing but more rude things to say. I reported them to Groupon and got my money back. I’d never recommend this office. They were nothing but rude and nasty.

I have since moved to Colorado, but felt compelled to write this review based on my recent experience getting my glasses repaired. Eye Exam — Dr. Beers insisted that I stop using 2 different type of contact lenses, 1 for astigmatism and 1 without. I happily obliged but she set me up with contacts that weren’t strong enough, and didn’t fit right. My new optometrist recently informed me that it was okay to use 1 standard and 1 toric lense so I am back to seeing much more clearly. I think Dr. Beers was just a little too pushy about it. Customer Service — Here is where I am mixed up on. In the store all the staff were very helpful and took their time to handle everything. The bridge on my glasses recently snapped so I sent them back for repairs from Colorado with $ 10 as stated for shipping. The replacement took about 2 weeks. I got a call on 1÷7÷15 letting me know they were complete and would be shipped back shortly. I called back on 1÷15÷15 to see where they were and was told they were already shipped out a few days ago and I would get them. Today is 1÷21÷15 and I just got my glasses, post-marked 1÷15÷15(The day I called), and only costing $ 2.83. Guess they kept the change. It doesn’t seem like they’re on top of things as far as their customer service goes, I should have had these glasses back a week earlier but was lied to on the phone when I called about them. They need to understand that honesty is always the best policy.

My review is up 2 stars from my last review because i decided to call to see if i can get a new dr. the office manager(dont know if she would want me to put her name here) is very nice, very understanding and yes i can see a new dr. and shes working on my trial lens… i wont delete the old review yet, you can still read it… Don’t expect to get there, whether you have an appointment or not, whether you’re on time or not, and walk out at a reasonable time. Dr. Beers has the gift of gab. Appointments are constantly running very very late. You can hear the bs-ing and laughing while your sitting there 20, 30, 40 min. After you’re appointment. I walked out of today’s appointment. The appointment before that, she admitted once she gets taking, she Takes Forever to do her job. My last visit, she grabbed her ears and said, I lost an earring, I knew I was screwed. She can’t concentrate, she seems to have adult A.D.D. If your a patient of hers, your sure to know all about her personal life. Her mother, her kids and their play, her migraines. It’s rude, it’s annoying. I understand an appointment can run late but Dr. Beers appointments run extremely late due to the facts mentioned. My family will now seek a new Dr.
