Not sure what happened today but have always loved 3 Brothers. Most of the reason why is because their portions make the pricing seem okay. Today everything we ordered were in much smaller portions. Normally when I would have leftovers for lunch I am finishing easily. $ 15 for Chicken Parmesan and got two tiny pieces of chicken and same goes with the penne that comes with. When it comes to taste I have to say it is one of the best around. Even with the smaller portions this time around I can’t give below three stars. Really hoping this was a fluke and the next time it goes back to normal otherwise we’ll just find another place to order from. Considering we order at least once a week this was really disappointing. I’ll post the pic of the order of chicken parmesan I got for reference. **Almost forgot… we didn’t even get a little bread this around. They have always given a little side of bread with the entrée orders just as every other Italian place does. You know for the dipping in the sauce… not this time. Really really disappointing. This is just based on what I ordered… my gf has her own complaints about her order but I’ll leave that alone for now.

Wow! I’ve had their pizza a few times at a friends and was blown away that it was so tasty and vegan… I finally went to the restaurant and left even more impressed… They have a «regular» menu and a «vegan» menu… Small on the inside, but relaxed atmosphere with good vibes and friendly service… Independent and doing their own thing without being pretentious… The food is outstanding!

Best vegan food & beat vegan options! Great place to go to when accommodating vegans & meat ratings! They have options for everyone. The staff is friendly & informative.

2 people got very sick, vomiting, nausea, fever. I asked for little or no oil and no salt, both trays were drenched in oil, tomato sauce extremely spicy, and salty. When I called to speak with the owner he did not even let me explain the entire story all he had to say was that the weather got the 2 people sick, and that the food is not his problem, insulted me and hung up on me. When I called back immediately, the owner had«left» and no attention was further paid to my situation. I ordered 2 half trays of food, was about to be charged for 3 half trays if I had not already known the total.

I came here just so I can try out the vegan dishes. I had their vegan Mac and cheese ball, vegan penne ala vodka and vegan carrot cake and they were all very good. Aside from the Mac and cheese balls, you couldn’t really tell they were vegan. They also have a regular menu with your non-vegan typical Italian dishes. My boyfriend had their chicken parm with pasta and he also loved his dish. Oh and all of the staff had«Go Vegan» shirts on– nice touch!

Very nasty owner. He went to rush me out of the restaurant while I was eating a salad and had half a pie left. He said what you gonna do take it home! The other tables had couples and they had finished eating and he didnt dare approach them. It was a Sunday around 4:45 and a few people were waiting its a small place. When I tried to explain that I was still eating and that I had a right to finish he started yelling and said he works very hard for his money and that I should be nice. Someone like this should not be in business dealing with the public. Their other restaurant got reviews of nastiness too.

Went there tonight, and tried the vegan pizza, wasn’t what I expected but we ate it. They had fried mac and cheese balls which were off the charts good, my son had two Sicilian slices and said they were great! Not a bad meal, place was a little loud, another family had a large table, and were very loud and ate like they were at home. I like to eat in quiet…

Great spot for pizza. They have«regular» and vegan versions. I had the vegan version but heard both are just as good. I tried the Daiya Cheese Mozzerella Sticks, Oyster Mushroom«Calamari», Vegan Mac & Cheese, and Vegan Pizza. Mozzerella Sticks were crispy but creamy/cheesy on the inside. I loved the«calamari»!!

I love this place. Being vegan, finding places with accommodating menus can be challenging. There’s so many delicious vegan options here! They serve pizza by the slice both vegan and non vegan. The vegan dessert menu also has plenty of options. The vegan raspberry cheesecake is my favorite! :)

My experience dining here grows more mediocre with each visit. I’ve been a regular customer for over a year and the quality and portion size of entrees has declined. At my last dinner, my seitan parmesan hero was thin and bland. The portion of my mother and uncle’s lasagnas seemed small. This place is just A-OK. Decent vegan food and decent service.

This place was fantastic. I’ve been meaning to go here for years and wasn’t disappointed. They are proudly vegan-friendly with«Go Vegan!» written all over the restaurant and on the shirts of some staff members. They have a good selection of vegan pizza with Dayia cheese(good and special in Long Island, but nothing too different from what’s offered in NYC), but where they really shine is the selection of appetizers and entrees. Vegan seitan piccata? Lasagna? Tempeh everything? I went with the mozzarella sticks and crab cakes for an appetizer, both were very good. I also had the cashew ricotta stuffed eggplant, which was very good and the buffalo chicken pizza, which was good, but I really could have used vegetables at that point. Friendly service, decent prices, will definitely go back.

I love this place. When I turned vegan I thought I’d never eat a chicken Parm again I tried there seitan And tempeh Parm and Parm hero both amazing. There sauce is very good and has authentic Italian taste. At first I didn’t like daiya cheese but I guess it grew on me. Zucchini sticks, crab cakes, grandma pizza are my favorites. There cannoli and there different cakes are soooo delicious. One thing I’d like to see maybe in the future some different cheese options for pizza and entries, like a cashew cheese

Oh, 3 Brothers. I remember the first time I had the Chicken Francese here. That meal alone sold me forever on this place, and my roommates and I have frequented 3 Brothers on many a Friday night after a long and hard week at school. The meal I described above is simply perfect. Any place can throw veggies and hummus on a tortilla and satisfy a vegan option, but you can just tell that their vegan chef, Jay Astafa, has a real passion for vegan cuisine. He just opened 3 Brothers Vegan Café in Amityville, which deserves your attention as well. I also typically get the seitan bacon ranch pizza to go. That and their cheesecakes make a meal here complete. Check out their brunch as well, which can weigh a bit on the pricey side, but offers a lot of interesting options you don’t see during their other hours. I really load up while I’m here because its akin to being apart from a loved one when we leave at the end of our meal. I understand that I’m gushing but this place deserves every ounce of credit. Always one of my favorites!

Love this place. I been going there many times with my family. Their vegan pizzas are great. Like the buffalo seitan pizza. Also Seitan Marsala and Seitan Picata are excellent. They sell delicious vegan desserts as well. My favorite is tiramisu but carrot cake is very good too. Also would recommend vegan drumsticks for an appetizer(imitation of chicken).

One day after a trip the beach I decided to detour and get some Italian vegan food. I am so happy I did. This place has the feel of a classic new york pizzeria with a formal dining section with the cloth napkins(fancy). I came with my baby cousin and they high chairs. The location is definitely family friendly. I was excited to see they had gluten-free pasta options. They only improvement I would like them to make is gluten-free dessert.

The golden days of 3 Brothers(In Rockville Center) are long gone. I recall getting great food, good service, excellent portions, and great prices in a comfortable setting. It used to be the highlight of my trips to Long Island. Today it is a cramped, noisy, little hole with hardly any parking at all. The food has gone from works of art to bland copies made on a crappy first generation Xerox machine. The service is terrible and the owner is a surly tyrant . In the past I used to eat there whenever I was nearby(nearly every other day and sometimes twice in a day). I have only been there twice in the last ten days. The first time I got some mushy, soggy, inedible, $ 14 crepes. When I informed the owner, he gruffly replied«If you don’t like it, don’t eat it.» It was taken off of the bill(well, duh?). The $ 19 omelet was significantly smaller than even last year and boarder line overcooked. I went there today and the slow, dazed and confused staff was openly yelled at by the owner several times and the packed, noisy little eating area was unbearable. While waiting for dinner, we were given some hard, dry bread. I did not even ask for butter: a supersoaker of hot lava could not have penetrated that rock. The small, over-breaded, $ 10 cheese sticks were a shadow of their past glory and the $ 19 seitan marsala was merely OK(kind of on the bland side). Despite haven eaten at this place over two dozen times, no one has ever acknowledged me as a frequent customer. In contrast, I ate at A Taste Of Africa(In Deer Park) once last year and when I went back this year the man in there immediately noticed who I was and when I was last there. There are slim pickings on LI, so many folks are just ecstatic to get any vegan food at all. They will lap up whatever is sloppily thrown together(like a deliriously dehydrated person crawling around on the desert being given dirty water from the toilet bowl), pay through the teeth, get horrible service, and give it 5 stars. I, however, will be taking the long ride into Queens/Brooklyn for some quality food. 3 Brothers has taken a dive in almost every area(atmosphere, location, service, price, and food quality) and it is no longer worth the time or money.

This place is VEGAN heaven. So happy to have a place that offers cruelty-free Italian food and comfort food. Especially here on Long Island. The pizza is great, the pastas are great. Those WINGS!!! To die for. I prefer the crispy wings with the BBQ sauce over the buffalo ones but man… Both are Heaven. I can’t wait to go back and try the Oreo cheesecake.

The most delicious pizza I’ve ever had– did I mention it’s vegan?! They offer a mouthwatering menu of both vegan and non vegan food. I highly recommend from the vegan pizza menu– Bianca pizza, vegetables lovers pizza with pesto sauce and buffalo seitan pizza. For dessert, be sure to get the rainbow cookie cake. It’s out of this world. Plus their staff is Awesome-everyone is so friendly and helpful. One of my all time favorite places!

Just note they serve vegan and non vegan dishes. You can ask for a vegan or regular menu. I got the regular and later thought hey they’re known for their vegan… what am I doing ordering from the regular menu… so I got the vegan and ordered myself the works calzone. It had all the different vegan meat and replaced green peppers with grilled eggplant because I prefer grilled over breaded eggplant. To my surprised, this calzone was enormous. Two people can eat this. I couldn’t even finish it… ate half and took the other half to go. I wish I told them to over cook it a bit because I love my bread very toasted. But overall it was good. Not great but good enough to come bacm again and try others. They gave us free bread and a free vegan bruschetta and it was good. Free is always good haha. On the menu I saw fried oyster mushroom on the appetizer list and I just had to get it. I enjoyed it but didn’t enjoy it as much as my friend. She literally pigged out on it haha. This place is not huge but they have an area for guest to sit and enjoy eating. The décor is lovely. If I was nearby I would drop by again. ALSO, the employees there is the greatest
