Avent Guitar Repair

I don’t write many reviews, and write even fewer (none) good reviews. I find most businesses do not meet the most basic of expectations. Avent Guitar Repair is a welcomed exception. I took a guitar to Avent to have a nut replacement and setup. The work has exceeded my expectations, and not just a little, but considerably. The attention to detail and difference it made compelled me to drop off the rest of my guitars for similiar work. Not only is his work thorough but his prices are quite reasonable. Shop around, and you’ll be hard pressed to beat his prices, and if you do, I doubt you’ll receive such friendly and informative service.

If you need top-​quality, professional guitar or amp work done at a fair price, then take your gear to Avent Guitar Repair. Billy Avent (the owner) is a skilled craftsman that truly loves what he does… and it shows.
Not only does he do great work at a more than fair price, he also genuinely wants his customers to be satisified and happy. His customer service is awesome.
I feel that I can trust that his recommendations because they are based on MY needs versus just trying to sell me something. For example, I just had some new pickups installed in one of my guitars. I told him the tone I was looking for and he made a recommedation that made my guitar sound even better than I hoped.
He also told me that even after installing the new pickups, that the neck didn’t require a new setup. It would have been very easy for him to tell me it was needed and run up the bill, but he didn’t.
I don’t know that (insert well known music store name here) would have been as honest as Billy Avent is.
I won’t take my guitars or amps anywhere else. Neither should you.

Mr. Avent has saved me thousands of dollars and will take calls to give me advice regarding purchases in a timely manner. His fees are standardized but if you want quality try his service. He dispels all of the myths that the good sales people tell you!
