Yep, typical bar with food, except that this is good food! Had the bbq rib special last night with a large group. Everyone was very pleased. Local star Jack Hird had the special burger with onions mixed into the meat. The only thing not great but still good were the onion rings just a bit over cooked and crunchy.
I have been going here for beer and food for over 30 years, never disappointed, chicken, burgers, fries even tacos. A large dedicated kitchen and staff keep the food hot and served efficiently. Thanks for the good food, next time you are there tell ‘em you want the burger just like Jack. Special thanks to all that stopped by and said hi, you made a WW2 Vet and longtime Farley resident feel like a million bucks. I miss the Old Style on tap.

I am torn between 3 and 4 stars… but with this being what it is, A-​OK seems fair.
This is your typical small town Iowa tap that serves good bar food. The fried chicken is cooked to order and definitely the star of the menu. I am told that they also have a banging Fish Fry. The drinks are strong and the food is solid with great prices.
