Fresh and Fantastic, best lunch in downtown Fargo!

Outstanding food! If you have not tried The Blue Goose for lunch, you should give it a shot. The menu is relatively minimal and varies.
I’ve been stalking their weekly menu on Facebook for a couple months now and finally made it for lunch. I had a bowl of sausage soup to start. The bowl is somewhat shallow and my initial reaction was not sure I should have paid $ 5.50 for this. However, it was great tasting and heavy on the sausage. I then had the Banh Mi (Asian Meatball) sandwich. Served in a crispy baguette, it consisted of large and flavorful meatballs. The radishes and cucumbers also added to the unique sandwich.
I ran into a friend who said The Blue Goose is now a weekly lunch stop for her. With their quality ingredients, tasteful arrangements and varied menu, I would expect this could be a regular lunch habit for others once they experience it.

The soup was amazing. Who gets excited about potato soup. Wasn’t expecting to be so impressed.
The coffee also was fantastic. Situated in the plains art museum, ample opportunity to star gaze on the downtown atmosphere. Great place for a meet and greet.
The staff was friendly and explained menu options. All and all, will be returning soon. Would highly recommend. Almost forgot, definitely felt like I got my monies worth.
