This place is awesome! The owners are very pleasant and the food is outstanding. My favorite is the chicken curry. I also like their mango lasses. It would be so nice if they could open up a restaurant in the south part of town!

OMMGGG favorite food in the universe. You gotta get the butter chicken(or paneer makiani if going veggie), butter naan and mango lassi… seriously this stuff never gets old.

The food was okay. I love this new place called Mediterranean Grill though, it is all fresh, non gmo, local food, and grass fed beef. Yum. The owner of the place was really nice too and gave us some great samples as well as our food that was at a very reasonable price. My wife is a vegetarian and she got their homemade falafel, she loved it. I got the signature Mediterranean burger and it was soo flavorful. $ 8.99+2 sides! It is a great addition to the Fargo/Moorhead area and my new favorite spot

Consistent service and food quality. Excellent range of menu options. Accessible buffet allows for good introduction to Indian cuisine, but the best meals are off the menu. Prices have gone up a bit recently which means I go less often but still a treat. Try a Mango Lassi.

Love Indian food and I was passing through town for work. Decided to stop in for lunch. Absolutely outstanding lunch buffet for $ 10. I’ll definitely eat here again when I’m near Fargo. My daughter would’ve loved this. Ate here again today(17 days since last time) and once again, the lunch buffet was awesome.

Fantastic food and marvelous service. The meal came out very promptly and was absolutely delicious! We tried some dishes that we had never had before and it was worth it. I would most definitely recommend this place.

This is literally my favorite place to eat in Fargo. I was never turned on by Indian food until I ate at India Palace. There is so much flavor in the food and the ambiance is very nice! This is my go-to place when I just want to enjoy a nice dinner and converse with friends and/or family. The staff here is very polite. They don’t make you feel rushed. The Indian Chai tea is amazing! Perfect after every meal! I have never had anything quite like it in my life. The vegetable and palak balti is so far my favorite. They also have the best lunch buffet in town! For only $ 9.99 you get actual fresh, quality Indian food. I refuse to eat at another Chinese buffet on my lunch break. The owner is also very nice. He smiles a lot and he really seems to enjoy seeing his customers happy.

I absolutely love this place. I have yet to have a single dish I didn’t like and we go frequently and try something new every time. The staff is always friendly and attentive. It is always clean. One time when we were early for a pickup they gave us a table and water just for the wait. I also can’t say enough about how amazing their Tea is, Starbucks has nothing on that tea! I would recommend this place to anyone!

I am not nearly as impressed by their buffet as other options in town, but for dinner, they are the go-to. Their chicken curry is the best I have ever had and may be my favorite indian dish ever. I will say that to me their chicken masala kind of tasted like spaghetti-O’s, which was a disappointment. There are so many other, better things to order anyways, it didn’t faze me too much.

LOVE the Chicken Tikka Masala! My husband and I split a «meal for two,» which came with a variety of different types of food you can try if you haven’t had a lot of Indian cuisine. Highly recommend!

Came here on a whim while running errands with my boyfriend. I had read and heard great things and he had never tried Indian food so we thought we would give it a whirl. Right when we walked in, we were greeted by a nice young man who seated us. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and chicken korma. Everything was amazing and the service was phenomenal. Our waters were always full – the servers must know that people need water when they’re eating spicy food! The food was fresh and flavorful. I wish I had saved room for dessert but I couldn’t stop eating our entrees! Fantastic staff and outstanding food!!! A new favorite!

Really enjoyed our meal at Indian Palace last night. Never had authentic India cuisine before and was hoping for the buffet, however the buffet is only open for lunch(maybe next time). Started with chicken samosa and had a bowl of spiced pickles. Samosa was great. Pickles are an acquired taste.(I’m still acquiring). Main course: lamb balli for me and chicken masalla for her. Balli was rich and earthy, masalla a little fruity. Good choices for both of us. Desert had Indian rice pudding. It was just OK. Waiter was a little too helpful. Would like more explanation of what things are and less opinion of what we should have. And once served let us enjoy ourselves. Don’t pester. Hours afterwards my beautiful wife said«Indian food sure makes for interesting burps. I will go back. It was an explosion of flavors. Oh, and garlic naan. I could eat that everyday.

What can I add that others haven’t already said?! The food: Great, with a menu so large it’s almost overwhelming… almost. Service: I was the only person in the dining room that evening, which made me nervous as normally an empty dining room is a sign of problems ahead. But, I trusted in Unilocal, and it didn’t let me down. I was served by a very sweet girl who was very polite without being overbearing. She also was very cute, but that’s besides the point. Price/Portions: Great value here, most items are large enough to share, if u want to share that is. I like that you can choose your level of spice, I had the Samosas with a sweet and a spicy mint chutney, the Chicken Tikka Masala, and an order of the Naan, bc how can you not?

Excellent Food! Most of the time, I travel to various states on business trip and tried Indian food in many different Indian restaurants. But I must Say this place is excellent! The food is great! I tried both veg and Non veg, Yellow Dal, Roti etc. All are very good!

I’ve dined here twice and had a fabulous experience both times. Where do I start? The service was wonderful! The servers are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They patiently answered all the questions we had. Everyone was so nice! The menu is a bit overwhelming — lots o’ choices. I’m really impressed that everything we’ve tried on both visits has been fantastic. Most places with so many menu options are inconsistent, it’s hard to do everything well. Each item I’ve tried has a different flavor. It’s very easy to share with your fellow diners. The naan! I almost forgot. This is, bar none, the best naan I’ve had anywhere. ANYWHERE. One slight word of caution: you can specify how hot you want your entrée. Extra Hot means Extra Hot. Unusual for North Dakota, I know. You’ve been cautioned. I love the other Indian restaurant nearby, but it doesn’t stack up to the food and service at India Palace.

Excellent food, I can’t put it down unless I literally can’t eat another bite or I run out. I have made it my mission to try everything on the menu as I am in Fargo a lot for work. I definitely recommend their appetizer sampler that has a little bit of all of their appetizers. It’s tasty and in my opinion a REALLY good value. One REALLY nice thing about this restaurant is they let you choose the level of spice in the entrees, so I haven’t been afraid to recommend it to folks who don’t like too spicy. They also offer delivery through Food Dudes, which is an excellent service. The only reason I’m giving four and not five stars is they were very rude and difficult to understand on the phone the one time I’ve called them directly before I knew I could order through Food Dudes. They hung up on me when it took me a minute to find a pen to write something down, and they’re lucky I was really craving Indian food that day and Food Dudes was there to save the day for them as I’d definitely have given them a nasty one star review and never even considered buying from them again had it not been for Food Dudes being so easy to deal with and the actual food being so good. Edited to add: I’ve now been in to their actual location for the buffet, and it’s pretty good. A little bit spendy if you’re not that hungry, and their delivery portions are a super value so it kind of bummed me out to be paying so much for a few plates, but it’s a good buffet and the service was good, very quick to clear empty plates and replace drinks. The food at the buffet was always hot and somebody was usually always replacing SOMETHING up there so you know it was relatively fresh. One thing I was digging was unlimited bread, which these guys do VERY well.

Fast, simple and always fresh! India Palace offers outstanding quality of dining. Each sauce is executed with a twist of different flavor, unlike other Indian restaurants that taste all same. Difference is very noticeable. And of course, lunch buffet is a must. For a true taste of India look no further!

India Palace is fantastic! I came here last Saturday for dinner with a larger group of friends, and had a great time. To echo a lot of the same sentiments as other Unilocalers, the service was absolutely wonderful. Easily the best service that I’ve had at a restaurant in the FM area(or in any other cities for that matter). Our primary server was extremely kind and funny, our glasses of water were always full, and the other staff who helped him were so polite, sweet, and efficient. In terms of food, I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and a side of lamb naan. Our meals came out fairly quickly and everyone agreed that the food was delicious. What I also appreciated when ordering was that we were all asked what spice level we preferred, ranging from extremely mild to extremely spicy. This way, every dish was adapted to meet everyone’s palate. Can’t wait to come here again, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the mood for Indian cuisine! Also — make sure to check out their weekly lunch buffet for $ 9.99! If you like them on Facebook, they’ll sometimes post statuses for buffet discounts for $ 8.99 :)
