Talc salon is amazing! I have the worst hair on the planet and when I leave Talc, my hair is gorgeous and shiny. Everyone is very professional and nice as well. Highly recommend Talc!

The WORST place. Overpriced. Dated and rude stylists. Awful. Are there negative stars you can give?

Been here once and never again. Receptionist continued to talk to staff not even acknowledging I was standing there. Stylist was horrible no personality and only knew how to do a basic cut which was not great and was considered to be an experience stylist. NOT and charged a $ 100.00. So NOT Worth it.

Lucy was my stylist, and she was phenomenal! She gave me a modern and edgy hair cut and showed me a few very helpful styling tricks. I am very pleased with my experience at TALC, and I plan on going back again in the near future.

Since my last review I’ve been at TALC at least four times. I only wanted a color each time, and did not have time to blow dry since I was on my lunch hour. In spite of the fact that I stressed I was on my lunch hour, I still ended up waiting for my stylist. She wanted to chat and catch up, and again I stressed I was on my lunch hour. She would even stop working to make a point! Every single time this happened, and to add insult to injury, the person who rinsed me left color along my hairline! Even though I made it a point to mention it every time when I checked out, it happened THREE times. Finally I just gave up. Too bad, I was hoping that I had come across a hidden gem. For $ 70 I could get a cut, color and blow dry done properly at a place where they listen rather than letting me walk out with a wet head and color staining my hairline. Hey coworkers, guess where I went on my two hour lunch?

I went for my first visit today after seeing all the reviews on Unilocal.I had the fortune of seeing Denise who gave me some fabulous tips on how to manage my wavy/​curly hair. Lo and behold, my hair looks like it did when I was 16! I went home and raved about this salon and then found out that it’s the same salon my husband has been trying to get me to go for the past 3 – 4 years! He’s been a faithful patron for 15 years and now I know why.

Curly haired ladies, come here and see Denise. She has been cutting my hair for five years and I have followed her from salon to salon. So far Talc is my favorite. Denise is a wonderful stylist and she really understands curly hair. She also did everybody’s hair for my daughters wedding. She made us all look beautiful.

Vicci has been cutting and coloring me for over twenty years. She is the best. She is my hairdresser and my friend. I’d follow her anywhere but I’m really happy she is at TALC. The friendly staff and atmosphere reminds me of our old days when Vicci owned her own shop.

Lucy has cut my hair and my two daughter’s hair for over 11 years. She is a wonderful person and is very talented. Lucy and the other women who own and manage Talc have done a wonderful job with the salon! It is beautifully decorated, clean, warm, and friendly. Cheryl, who runs the front desk, is always cheerful and helpful. I have in the past and will in the future continue to recommend Lucy and Talc Salon to others.

Talc is a beautiful, friendly clean salon.
I loved my entire experience there.
My hair stylist was Vici Giunta. I loved my color and the cut was perfect.
I was not there long but the time flew by and when I left I felt like I was saying
goodbye to an old friend.
I am looking forward to my next visit.

Nice ambiance. Friendly staff. And Micheal Paccuci has to be God’s gift to hair. I don’t want to say how phenomenal he is because I don’t want to ever have to wait to see him, but he truly is the most incredible hairdresser known to the world of hair. There is no need to go to NYC, when Micheal exists in NJ. I will follow him anywhere. Anyone I have sent to him has said the same. Cut, color, blow dry, — you name it Micheal can do it. You will not be disappointed with TALC

Great salon: Friendly, comfortable atmosphere, talented staff, well run.
Anna has been my stylist for 10++ years — I have followed her from salon to salon. I also travel from NYC just to see her since I have not been able to find anyone else who takes the time to understand, treat and style my hair. She is a true artist, top Goldwell colorist and trainer, and gives an excellent cut.
I highly recommend Anna and Talc Salon.

Amy has cut my hair every two weeks for the past two years. My business man hairdo is easy for Amy but I’ve had the opportunity to see so many of her customers come through the salon. She is a true artist! She blends color so beautifully and so naturally that I can always tell which woman was her client. The bottom line is Amy makes her clients hotter than they were before they sat in her chair.
Cheryl at the front desk also makes the whole experience fun. This place does not disappoint.
