Be Craftful

IS THIS PLACE CLOSED? I can’t get anyone to call me back about scheduling my daughters birthday party and we’ve been calling, leaving voicemails and emailing for 10 days. I don’t get it.

I have been to becraftul many times and my child enjoyed it a lot. She requested to have her birthday party there. I sent two emails and left two voicemails. They were apparently closed for winter break but stated that they would return messages. I never heard back. Finally when I called the store once more, the representative sounded totally irritated that I called and told me that «we are currently very busy and my boss will have to communicate with you via email». I will not be having my daughters party here due to the lack of customer service. I’m sorry you are very busy, that’s your job. Not to tell the potential customer that.

I was invited here by my friend who needed a wild night out post pregnancy. Apparently they have this «adult craft thing» every 3^rd Thursday of the month and yours truly was there.
The fee to come do crafts is $ 30 + $ 2 service charge. They had a masseuse and a bartender available. The event planner encouraged us to BYOB. Throughout the evening mixed cocktails were an option, but everyone mostly had wine. They also served pizza slices for us to have while crafting. That was nice of them.
The crafting was from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, we ended up leaving like around 10:30 pm as most girls were still getting massaged. On the downside 4 ladies from our group didn’t get massages because there was not enough time. It was kind of hard to relax because crafting is super fun for me. I was really into it, but I did manage to set the crafting aside and went for a massage because I’m a total massage whore as well. The masseuse was ok.
For our craft we got to decorate cardboard wine totes with modge podge, Be Craftful was generous with the supplies. They provided everything and gave thorough instructions on how to make our totes look super cute.
All and all it was a great time, it was fun to hang out, drink, and talk with my friends while crafting. I can only imagine how much fun this place is for kids which is truly who this place is meant to cater to. Super cool place, I dig!

Had an awesome experience today watching my daughter celebrate her 3^rd birthday at Be Craftful! Everything was tailored to Mairead. She wanted a superhero party and she got it in spades. We told the owner, Amy, that she was going to dress up in a Wonder Woman outfit and there was a Justice League sign, Captain America balloon, and plenty more superhero inspired decorations. The room was set up in stations where all of the kids designed their own canvas and wand. The three assistants helped all of the children with glitter, markers, and writing their names on the canvases. The party was DJ’d using a setlist that consisted of Mairead’s favorite songs (Frozen and Sofia songs of course, but also Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Jack White, etc.). All of the loot was bagged up for the children so they could easily carry everything out. Pizza and drinks were included with the price. The only thing you have to worry about is the cake but you probably want to design one yourself anyway. Be Craftful is highly recommended by my wife and I for any birthday party needs. Bravo!

Love this place! Perfect spot for a drop-​in craft on a too hot or too cold day. I recently went with a group and the kids had a great time decorating picture frames and candles.
They also carry a wonderful selection of gifts that you won’t find everywhere else. Really unique, high-​quality items, mostly with a DIY, crafty theme. The owners are very friendly and will happily help you find the perfect present.

My daughter had her 8^th birthday party here and it was lovely. The owners are incredibly helpful and will tailor you party for exactly your needs. It’s nice to have a family run place in today’s world of large faceless businesses.
Any kind of craft or arts you desire can be the theme of a birthday party, just ask and they will accommodate.

This has become my go-​to place for all birthday party related presents, as well as a great location to visit with the kids. The kids love the craft pit, as well as the classes, and they always find something new in the store to add to their birthday or Christmas wish lists.
I will probably do half of my Christmas shopping in this one store with unique items that are fun and educational. The owners search for products that are excellent quality, so I know these are good items.
My daughter LOVED her wizard wand that she was able to decorate and it was the perfect accessory to her Halloween costume.
