We were on our way to a basketball game and needed lunch, so we stopped at this great little resturant. There was a long line, but the service was very quick and we were seated right away. We all ordered the fish chowder, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a better chowder. It was loaded with fresh fish, and you should definitely order the bowl, because it was really good. The meal came very quickly, and the staff was friendly. It’s not a pricy place, although the food was very high quality. i would highly reccomend this place for lunch and dinner. its great!

I had not been at Crabapples for a while, but read the review in regard to the blueberry french toast. I decided to try the blueberry pancakes and sausage. It was really good! The pancakes were just right and came with heated syrup. Excellent sausage, just the right amount of spice. This puts Crabapple right up there with Moonakis which is the best breakfast restaurant in the area. Like Moonakis, the service was warm and friendly. All in all a very good experience.

On a weekend getaway to Cape Cod, we really wanted to go to Dana’s Kitchen but since they were sold out of the soft shell crabs and my children wanted seafood and were very hungry, we headed on over to Crabapple’s, just another few minutes away. Service was very friendly, place was clean but the food is just a little above average. Not much was special about it, except for the Bloody Mary. We ordered the haddock and scallops combo $ 15.99, Crabcakes and the stuffed haddock(with crab meat). Check for four for our lunch came out to $ 98 without tip.

Stopped by for breakfast before catching the ferry to the vineyard. Had the lobster eggs Benedict with a side of bacon and it was amazing!!! Definitely my favorite breakfast place while in Falmouth.

I came here last week and loved it. Awesome food and amazing chow-day! Has a mix of other seafood in it which makes one taste better. Will come back when back on the cape.

If you like fresh seafood then this is a great find. We had the fish chowder and boy was it delicious. It is a very busy place at lunchtime and the parking is limited. We had to park across the street and walk over.

Excellent service and the seafood pie was ridiculously good. Enough food for two to split(but you’ll really want to keep it all for yourself). Generous portions of scallops, shrimp, and lobster! It was so good we went straight back the next day for brunch and again was not disappointed by the meal. Also, get the stuffed quahogs, meaty, sweet, and very filling great as an appetizer or get 3 for dinner. :)

Staff was friendly but pretty much non-existent after our order was taken. I had the Banana Nut Bread French Toast which came with two links of sausage, and I ordered a side of homefries. My husband had a tomato, mushroom, and onion omelet with raisin toast & homefries. The homefries were dry and a bit bland, and my husband’s omelet was pretty skimpy without much tomato, mushrooms, onions, or cheese. The waitress never came back during our meal to offer a refill on coffee or soda. My French Toast was very good, but the sausage links were very salty. I would have ordered a cranberry juice if the waitress had ever come back… but she dropped the check on our table without even asking if we wanted anything else. I would have given Crabapples four stars if the waitstaff were a little more attentive.

Walked in on a rainy Saturday around noon. We both wanted to order the quiche and it comes with fruit. My mom asked to get something instead of fruit since she has severe allergic reactions to certain fruits. The waitress acted very strange about this and didn’t want to give us anything in place of the fruit. We had to convince her to give us «a few fries» as she described it. The quiche had a weird tofu-like texture to it and no salt. It was not good. The fruit seemed old and my mom really did only get a few fries-barely any. However, the chowder was fantastic. The atmosphere was cute and cape cod-esque. Won’t be coming back again, but we did indeed enjoy the soup!

Well I think this is my new favorite breakfast place. Ever. In the world. It is small and, being the off season, was filled with locals who were ridiculously friendly and chatty with us. The staff was very kind and helpful. My husband had standard breakfast: eggs, toast, hashbrowns. He said it was all good. I had the special French toast which was blueberry bread French toast with a side of sausage. The French toast was the perfect balance of sweet and savory, no added syrup was needed — just a bit of butter. It’s safe to say that if I were ever on death row, this would be my last meal.

It’s not often that we go to Crabapple’s, but after our most recent breakfast, we may need to make it one of our go-to breakfast locations. Here are a few of the highlights; 1. The staff here is incredible! Both the waitresses we had were amazing and incredibly polite. 2. The wait time was minimal even though the place was packed. We ended up being seated right away. Just a tip though, summers are a little more complicated. 3. The prices here were reasonable and the food was delicious. 4. It is conveniently located near the entrance to Rt. 28 and not far from the Steamship lot, hospital and downtown Falmouth. It may not be in downtown, but it’s nice to get away from the traffic if the center of town. Can’t wait to go back!

Great little place for breakfast in Falmouth. Come here for a nice homey breakfast. Try the pancakes as they are very yummy and the bacon is tasty as well. What I liked about this place was the staff was friendly and the towns people is friendly and the food came out fresh and hot and in a timely manner.

Fantastic fish chowder and lobster slider! Parking was a little rough once it gets crowded but nothing too bad. The fisherman platter was huge size and a great price for the portion. Would highly recommend this place for a solid lunch at reasonable prices.

If you’re a crab leaving Crabapple’s, you clearly didn’t eat here. Set along a main road, tucked in and surrounded by beautiful trees, Crabapple’s is a relatively smaller place but with great things inside. Walking in, there is an L-shaped bar and high top tables, opening to the main seating area. Walking to this area, you can see the kitchen in full steam. It has a supremely comfortable atmosphere, and the staff is very pleasant and hard-working. My family and I stopped in for lunch on a sunny day right before peak time. It was a little crowded, but we were seated within a few minutes. Tables were cleaned and free, it was a matter of having a server available. We ordered a chicken sandwich, a fish sandwich, and coffee milk.(Yes! Coffee milk!!) Everything was supremely fresh, cooked perfectly, and delicious. The portions are sizable yet perfect, and the quality of the food is tremendous.(All at good prices, too!!). My family member who ordered the fish sandwich said it was the best fish sandwich she has ever had, and it was actually fish instead of a tiny piece of fish with mostly breading on it. Crabapple’s clearly does fish sandwiches right!(Can the chefs here teach other fish restaurants how to do it?) A must try: coffee milk. It’s made right fresh with delicious wholesome milk and excellent coffee syrup. There were little streaks from the syrup on my glass and I eagerly stirred it in, then sipped the perfection. Flavorful but not overwhelming. Yum! I love coffee milk, and though I haven’t met a glass I didn’t like, I love the freshness of the milk and the perfect amount of syrup our server put in. It was really well done. And how could you not want a glass of coffee milk at the Cape? There’s nothing better than that!(I contemplated numerous times getting coffee milk to go, after our lunch and in each time we were in the area.) The only problem my family and I encountered – not really a problem, at all – was the slightly longer amount of time our lunch took. Our meals took a few extra minutes than usual to come out, though each was hot and fresh when it arrived at our table. A peak into the kitchen at our arrival showed a couple of chefs working extremely hard and there were also only about three servers taking care of the crowds, so it’s understandable that it took a little more time. They all work extremely hard. It was good to sit back and enjoy time with my family. For a fresh, delicious meal of sizable portion and quality, stop in at Crabapple’s. Get a coffee milk, too, and enjoy!

Just tried Crabapple’s for breakfast and am really happy we did. It’s good for kids with a nice selection of food for my five and seven year old. I read other reviews about the crab cake Benedict and it was as delicious as I thought it would be. Perfectly cooked eggs, hollandaise sauce that was slightly lemony and not too thick and really delicious crabcakes. My husband agreed and he is super picky about crabcakes. We also tried a side of the hash. I liked it a lot. It’s not big chunks of meat but still really hearty. Kids had muffins, pancakes and bacon and sausage. The muffins are grilled and are the best I’ve ever had. My husband are half of the blueberry and I ate half of the corn. So good with a little butter — yum! I can see why this place has been around for almost 20 years and still draws a crowd! Staff is friendly. Our server was on the young side and we needed to ask for a couple of things twice but that is a small price for such delicious food in a relaxed place. Highly recommend it.

Crabapple’s was the perfect place to stop on our way down to where we were staying in Falmouth for July 4th. We actually drove past it while trying to find it. So be on the lookout! It’s a no frills type of diner, but that’s really all our group was looking for. They don’t have any seating for large groups(we were a group of 9), but we had no issues sitting at two separate tables. My boyfriend and I started of by splitting a bowl of «wicked good» fish chowda and man, it really was wicked good. Not very thick, and the fish was very soft. I don’t even like fish! The portions of the actual entrees were also HUGE. I got like half a chicken for $ 13, it was awesome.

Probably not quite four stars, but it’s not a three-star place either. Crabapple’s is a casual spot for seafood and comfort food favorites. Service was courteous, and menu options were plentiful, including a a number of specials. The«famous» homemade crab cakes, served with a spicy tartar sauce, were heavy on crab meet and exceptionally tasty. They are a must have. The lobster pie, which comes with two sides for $ 19.99, was full of tender lobster meat. The sauce, though tasty, did not overpower the taste of the lobster. I would certainly go back. I would also be interested to try their breakfast menu.
