Apex Luxury Rentals

Our vacation has almost ended. We will be sad to leave. We had only wonderful weather and enjoyed the beach very much. This beautiful cottage that I had the fair to rent is absolutely perfect from all points of view. I will certainly keep your name as a reference for the future. I would also like to take the occasion to thank you very much for the welcoming gifts. It was a very nice thought of you and very appreciated.

Pros:
Fully furnished apartment that is oceanfront during the down season (thus quiet)
Decently furnished, albeit apparently a ripped quilt that I did not notice since I packed it in the linen closet the day I moved in as I brought my own linen and comforter (quilt) to the apartments (I am a germaphob).
Although the kitchen was fully furnished, I chose to bring my own cooking utensils and dinnerware.
Cons:
The apartment was dusty and sand in most rooms when I moved in. I had to sweep and mop the whole apartment three times before the sand was not all over the place. The windows remained closed the entire eight months stay.
I was charged $ 101 and change for a rip in a quilt I’d never used. Plus another $ 35 and change (per hour charge) for the owner to deliver the new quilt to apartment rental management for them to deliver to her own apartment (not sure why I am paying for the owner and rental agent’s services)
I was told the apartment came with two parking spaces through my entire stay but found out in June that arrangement ended in early May between the apartment complex and the owners of the parking lot — only one parking space was allowed starting in May!
I was somehow also supposed to feel grateful that I had a «wonderful apartment below market rate». If they were able to rent it at «market rate,» why did they choose to rent below?
I arranged a walkthrough upon check out of the apartment and the representative indicated that the apartment was cleaner than it has ever been, yet when I requested for proof that I ripped the quilt, the owner of the rental agency (APEX) indicated they had generously not charge me for four hours of cleaning after I moved out. This after I did the cleaning before moving out, cleaning the years of dust above the fridge, under the beds etc.

I contacted Apex Luxury Rentals to find a vacation home for a few weeks this summer. The website features beautiful properties, and stand up to the description of «Luxury» in the company name! The staff is responsive and very professional. They raise the bar for customer service in vacation rentals. Thank you, Apex Team! We love working with you!
