We have just HADIT with this place. This has been out go-to burrito place for nigh on 8 years, and we are calling it quits. No mas. I like their chicken and tofu, and I especially like their salsas, but the continuing steep decline in service and burrito construction just makes it all pointless. We have been literally driving 20 minutes to this place for the past two years, since moving away from Arlington, and every time is more and more frustrating. The teenagers who staff the counter have no idea what they’re doing. They don’t listen, they put things in that you explicitly said DONOTPUTIN, they don’t know how to make a burrito that doesn’t fall apart immediately, and they can’t even work a cash register these days. I just last night watched the cashier ring me up, stare blankly at the register, cancel the transaction, ring it up again, get a different total, frown, and do it a third time, yielding the same result as the first time. I didn’t say anything, I just watched. When I got to my table, my toddler’s taco had salsa and guac in it despite me saying JUSTCHEESE(after carefully monitoring to make sure chicken and beans did end up in there, I turned away to keep an eye on said toddler, and missed the errant additions). Oh, and there was no cheese in it. We’re sooooo done, Moe’s. Off to Chipotle-land.

Last time ever here. Rice hard as bricks. Taco always soggy and stale. Been here 4 times now. Never again.

I came here for a free birthday entrée. I ordered tofu and vegetables burrito bowl. Food: Always fresh and tasty. There is a free salsa bar. 5 kinds. Drink: Water and soda are about $ 2. Beer is $ 3.99. I usually drink some Mexican beer here. Staff: Fast, friendly, fantastic,… Interior: Casual and wormy. Parking lot: Many free spots. Location: Awesome! Trader Joe’s, some furniture stores, Best Buy, etc… Really popular. Always packed.

First time at Moe’s. Maybe I’m a custom to Chipolite but the burrito was not up to-par, the rice was hard down to the tacos. Need more focus on quality. Staff are very professional. Restaurant also seems clean.

We used to absolutely love Moe’s. After more than a year hiatus, we stopped by the area and wanted to get some wonderful burritos and quesadillas, but was utterly disappointed with the meal and the general atmosphere of the place. Came in at around 630pm midweek and food looked stale, salsa was pitiful, and you can definitely see the stoves, tables and cookware that have been neglected for so long. No love for what they’re making and doing, so definitely no love from me anymore as well.

I came to Amir’s because I bought their guacamole at BJs about a week ago. The store bought one was absolutely delicious. Today I was looking for quality beyond what i bought at the store. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The chips are bland and require salt. The food is not ‘to die for’ it’s average. If you’re looking for a quick Mexican fix then this place will satisfy.

Price went up for moe Monday’s. Instead of 5 for a burrito it’s 6 now. Also heard rumors when they run out of supplies they take it out of trader joes dumpsters. I still eat there due to the affordable prices on Mondays. I love me a huge burrito.

Lunch time im the only one in line during this debacle: Welcome to mm oooo… So the best part about.moes is the WELCOMETO. MOES!!! here it sounds like welsome to … Blah its uninviting and not what i think of when i go to moes mind you i love me some moes the one in wilmington de across from the red robin amazing i ate there everyday for like a year for lunch n sometimes dinner _(no judgement) but here is sounds like you coming in the door is a bother theyd rather not have. 2 when i get t o the counter to order no eye contact no smile just u ready okay so i order 1fish taco 1 chix 1 steak 1pork my fish on my taco was kept in a hotbox that wasnt hot it was half the size if what the filets are in de and the rest of my tacos arent any better proteins are rationed out like suger during ww1 and i even offered to pay for extra(i understand food cost) i got this dirty look anywho when it came to the toppings i had to ask for me lettuce cheese the sour cream had some things in it beyond that when i asked about the chili con queso i got«its queso wit meat» ok dont know what happen to u this morning but i didnt do it. Once i got rung up grand total 18bucks you can have that all day and when i sit down to eat had to clean my own table off gross the free style soda is 90%out and once i eat the fish is way dry and over cooked the chickens dry n salty the pork has a weird mush texture and the steak. is mostly gristle yuck and the chili con queso has no meat in it unless the small blk specks are meat and my chips needed salt and to not be stale

Welcome to Moe’s! My girlfriend and I used to eat here regularly for their Moe Monday deal. On Mondays, you could get a burrito and drink for $ 5.95. On our last visit, the price had gone up to $ 6.95. Still a decent deal — but we won’t be back for reasons I’ll explain below. This location is consistently dirty. The tables are unkempt. Chips and rice shrapnel litter the floor and seats, and, if you’re lucky to find an empty table, you’ll have to do a bit of DIY cleaning before sitting down. There’s a very strange odor in the store. I’m not sure if it’s a product of prepping and cooking the burrito components, but the only thing I’ve ever seen the employees prep while I’ve been in line has been grilled chicken and veggies. The bathroom was filthy… I won’t elaborate too much in respect of your appetites. The ingredients could be fresher and more flavorful. I usually forego the rice here because it doesn’t taste like anything. I loved the pork protein option until I saw that it was heated in a bag and then added to the prep table. The salsas and guacamole are pre-made and, while palatable, once you have something better(like at Chipotle) it’ll be hard to stomach. I will say though that the queso here is amazing. If I return to this Moes for some reason I’ll be getting a big bowl of queso and a bag of chips. And eating it to-go. There are bums who solicit the diners in the seating area! On most occasions there are homeless(?) people who slowly walk through the dining area asking for money. One night, a man claiming to be deaf stopped by our table. His sign said«DEAF — anything helps.» I’m fluent in ASL so I responded in sign language — he gave me a dumbfounded look and ran away. The management here needs improvement. I can accept average food(it’s a chain after all), but store cleanliness and policies can be changed. A couple of employees need attitude adjustments, especially the cashier at our last visit who sighed and rolled her eyes when in the middle of processing our payment. Another customer had just informed her that the salsa bar was completely out of containers and two types of salsa. This place is a great deal for the DC metro area. But you definitely get what you pay for.

Had to stop by Best Buy so figured I would eat at Moe’s, had been 2 – 3 years since I have eaten there and was hoping it would be better. Nope. Their Burritos are the worst out of all the«chain» burrito places like Chipotle, Qdoba, Baja Fresh, etc. I got a chicken burrito. Chicken was dry, the ingredients were nothing special. The Lettuce wasn’t really fresh. Not really fresh ingredients all around. Their rice is very bland too. The cheese was cold that they sprinkle on the burrito and you would think the cheese would melt on the chicken and beans but the cheese was so cold that every bite I was tasting had non-melted, cold cheese. Not much flavors in their meats and burritos in general. Stick to anywhere else rather than this place. They have a salsa bar that has like 4 – 5 salsas on it. One or 2 salsas were ok. The other were not appealing. The tables and floors are usually dirty, they need to work on being more clean. I give it 2 stars based off the free tortilla chips and very good queso dipping sauce they have. Their queso is good. The only highlight.

I love Moes but these guys have been trained to give you barely any food when you order. They don’t even fill the scoop halfway. Raise the price a dollar and give me some food!

We used to love eating at Moe’s but recently the quality of food at this location has really gone down hill. I’m pretty sure that they had a management change and entire staff turnover. Too bad. Oh, and now if you order the Quesadilla to-go they consistently(read: multiple times) don’t include the sour cream that is supposed to be included.

I almost always stop in here for a GFDC(giant f*cking Diet Coke) before heading into Trader Joe’s to buy groceries. The Diet Coke is delicious. It did nothing wrong. This review is not the Diet Coke’s fault. But the customer service here is gross. Case in point: my most recent experience, 10 minutes ago. In the past, when I’ve joined the main line and told them I just wanted a soda cup, they’ve waved me down to the register and told me to just go straight there. So that’s what I did this time. The register guy seemed offended that I did that, made no eye contact, and then grabbed a small cup and started ringing it up. «Oh, wait, I actually want a large, and a bottle of water too, please,» I said. See: GFDC. I do not mess around with piddling beverages. «WOAH! Ok!» he replied. And then, mumbling to himself: «You’re all like, making DEMANDS in here. Strong woman.» Isn’t… Isn’t that how a restaurant works? Someone asks you what you want, and then you politely tell them? Oh God, have I been doing it wrong the whole time?!

Love everything except the guac. Why have a Regular Guac and a Spicy Guac if the regular guac has jalapenos? Our kids love it until they scream when they catch one. Why not just make the regular guac, really not spicy and leave the spicy version to be spicy. Seems to make sense. Seems logical. Otherwise I love walking in and them saying«WELCOMETOMOEEEEEESSSSS» My 3 year old repeats the phrase all the time. We even call the restaurant«want to go to welcome to moes»

Just about the worst tacos I’ve ever had. Absolutely no flavor in the steak at all. Not even salt and pepper!!! I only came here because I was rushing around after working very late and stopping at Trader Joe’s after work. Blech. I admit, I am a Chipotle fanatic. I think they put crack in their seasoning. One bite of this flavorless steak taco and I wanted to throw it out of the window, get back in my car and drive to a Chipotle. I was also peeved that I asked for chips AND salsa. My order was to go and I’d never really been to Moe’s before. I know at Chipotle, you can order chips and the one of most delicious salsas ever for an added fee. I will pay it and I was going to pay for it at this place. Well, the person behind the counter said«Oh, chips and salsa are free! I’ll put in your bag.» Ok. When I get home, unload my groceries and open up the bag what do I see? My tacos wrapped up on top of a bag of chips. NO salsa. I can’t eat chips with no salsa! I was furious. Maybe that was my fault and I didn’t know there is salsa somewhere in the restaurant and I was rushing around and didn’t fully explore the whole scene there, but if I asked to order it, maybe it could have been explained to me. I tried dousing the tacos in some hot sauce I had at home. Just made it worse. Ugh. Won’t go back.

Meh. Other than it’s convenient location(right by Trader Joe’s!) it’s not that kind of fast food that I would be craving or going out of my way to get to. I tried the Steak stack and I like that they grill the tortilla and but the steak was too chewy. It also came with chips but I didn’t care for it. Maybe the chicken is better? Bonus points though for the freestlye soda machines and free salsa bar.

Fun atmosphere, kids love the food too. Free chips. Serves beer. I do wish they didn’t put jalapenos in the guac. Hard to feed to the baby and toddler. Also they have overcharged me several times. Usually a dollar here and there, but for a while it was predictable.
