I have been going to Dr. Al-​K since the early part of the «century», he has always provided the most professional, caring service. He is a perfectionist and thorough professional in all aspects of his practice and his staff reflects this commitment to customer service. I highly recommend anyone in need of dental services go to Merrifield Smiles!

I’ll begin by saying I regularly use Unilocal as a reference however have never written a review. Dr. Al-​Karagholi along with his team are top notch!!! I moved here from Los Angeles and could not find a decent dental office to start treatment at. I am soooo happy I found them! I don’t think anyone looks forward to going to the Dentist but if you need to go, this is the place! All the most important things to me have been fulfilled above and beyond by this office including hygiene! The office is clean and tidy. Dr. Al-​Karagholi is professional, polite and most importantly he’s great at what he does! He doesn’t rush, which I appreciate, ensuring his work gets done properly. Dr. Al-​Karagholi and his team are kind and make sure you feel safe and comfortable at all times. Good vibes all around!

Worst dentist visit ever. The hygienist kept questioning my cleaning habits and then would make remarks without giving further information. I felt super uncomfortable. .like I had never been to a dentist before! The dentist insisted I get cavities filled ASAP. after having another dentist take a look. .nothing needed to be done! Unless your looking to have someone cheat you and have a hygienist straight out of school… don’t go here!

Let me just start off saying, I have been to a couple dentists and I was referred to
Dr. Al-​Karagholi recently, I am so glad I came to his office. He is defiantly one of the best dentists that I have been to. I loved his office and the staff was all soo friendly.
I am terrified of going to the dentist but with Dr. Al-​Karagholi and his team they really made me feel calm and comfortable.

Dr Al-​Karagholi is one of the best dentists in northern Virginia. Great location with a beautiful office and friendly staff. Whether it is routine cleanings, or cosmetic procedures, Merrifield Smiles is the way to go
