One of the best massages in area. I’ve been getting massages for years. This is a no thrill place. Upstairs in a strip mall. Do not expect«spa» like facilities. Nothing shady. As others have implied.

I have been getting massages for years and I had the best massage there with the best staff, I normally just get a half hour, it turned out being an hour and a half of sheer delight. I highly recommend this location.

I haven’t been here in some time but that isn’t the fault of the business. The massage was just fine and I don’t care about fancy frills but the business is hampered by a terrible location and parking policies. I can’t believe nobody else has mentioned this major annoyance. The parking in front of the building is reserved for ground floor businesses — all other customers and employees must park in the rear. This wouldn’t be all that bad except that there is no entrance in the rear and you have to walk back around front to get the elevator.

Dont let the exterior fool you. admittedly, the bldg is older and comes with its peeling paint, less than fresh carpet and rather set in aromas. the Massage Pro reception is a hodge podge of older furniture and odd stickers and an infrared sauna in the corner. I agree with a previous review that it has a «seedy, 3rd world vibe» to it, but being from a seedy 3rd world country myself i knew that such places can hold hidden gems. The masseuse, Monica is Chinese and speaks very little english. but she tries her best and certainly appreciated the few phrases in Mandarin i could recall. She eventually gave myself and my husband the best massage we’d had in the NoVa area since we moved here. Her strokes are sure and strong and her style was a combination of swedish, reflexology and shiatsu. She also used the hot stones on us(we had a groupon coupon for a regular massage only) which was wonderful and very de stressing. Oils were pretty muhc unscented and not fancy. certainly not the lavender scented, herbal tea imbibing type spa experience, but a no frills place with an excellent masseur battling start up woes(bathroom, though functional, was ripped open due to construction). i am hoping the reception area will improve and the woman gets more help. in the meantime, we will be back, probably bringing our own massage oil and a sarong to cover the bed with a softer fabric.

Yes, there is no beautiful, calming, spa atmosphere. There is no calming music during the massage and nice smelling candles and oils. However, I can say this was hands down the best massage I’ve ever gotten(and I’ve gotten many). The lady used a lot of pressure(she asked me my preferece beforehand) and kept the pressure throughout the whole massage. She made sure to focus on all the stress points throughout the body and made sure she focused on each spot on my body. When I left I looked at the clock and she even went over the hour, which has never happened with any other massage place. So, if you can look past the location and focus on the massage that you came for, you will leave very happy and relaxed!

OMG I can’t comment on the massage but I called them to try to use my groupon and the lady that answered the phone could not understand a single word I said. I wanted to schedule an appointment in October and she kept saying August. What a nightmare. I’m hoping the Sterling location may be a bit better! At least they understood what I was saying and she was able to schedule an appointment for me. I’m very very skeptical though based on the reviews and the fact that the lady almost forgot to take my name down.

This place is a dump. BUT I did get one of the best massages of my life here. Hot stone massage via Groupon. For us bougie DC girls, this place will never do. Thankfully I’m not really like you, so I can deal. I was scared for a minute. I’m sure there have been a few happy endings in the room I was in. But my masseuse was professional, and great at what she does. If you can bring yourself to brave the third-world, seedy, sans-fluffy-robe-and-water-with-mint vibe, it’s worth it.

WARNING — What a nightmare! I think this place may be a brothel of sorts. They falsified a photo of a woman at a front-desk, which does not exist. The actual office is a dirty, dimly lit hole in the wall, with a spray-painted sign on the wall for a $ 60 massage for 1 hour. I only went to this place, because my boyfriend bought me a Groupon for a massage and facial for my birthday. The woman on the phone talked me out of the facial, thank goodness. I don’t want to know what they would have even attempted to do to my face. Upon entering the building, there was a foul odor and a woman randomly laying on the floor at the bottom of the steps.(She was still there 30 mins later when I left.) This is a nickle & dime business, unprofessional, dirty, and they tried to over-charge me another $ 20 on top for«aromatherapy», which consisted of a bottle of store-bought lotion with the label removed, which had no scent at all. There was no aromatherapy. The sheet on the table was frayed and torn. There was no music, except for one short song, which was on the«massage therapist’s» phone, that only lasted a couple of minutes before she would pause to go back and turn it on. She did not speak English. I could only stand the«massage» for about 15 minutes before I had to ask her to stop. She was hurting me and although I asked her to soften up, she continued. They rang me up through an iPad app. I’m fearful of what they may do with my card number. The creepiest part of the entire traumatic experience for me were the all-too-happy male clients. One obese man left and said he’d be back later in the week. Another man waiting his turn, gave me a questionable look as if he wondered why I was there. I cannot believe this is in Falls Church, Virginia. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I do not believe that they could possibly be an accredited/licensed massage therapy business, after seeing what I did. I’m calling Groupon to make sure they no longer do business with this«company».

Stay away from this place! I recently purchased a groupon for a 39 $ half hour massage, half hour facial for Massage Pro. I called to make an appointment on a Monday for the following Friday. The woman on the phone had a very difficult time understanding what I wanted to do in terms of my services(she had never heard of the groupon for her business?) Warning sign 1: I receive a call on Tuesday to redo the appointment since a different worker had no idea what the other woman had written for the appointment… she asks me if I still want to come in on Wednesday… even though I originally scheduled my appointment for Friday. We correct the date and time. Warning sign 2: I receive a call on Wednesday confirming my massage and facial appointment for the next day, again which is incorrect. So I correct the date and time. The worker tells me to arrive at 9:45 instead of 10:00 since she has«another appointment at 11.» Friday morning, I arrive to the location. The strip mall itself is nice, however Massage Pro is located in a very outdated, dirty, and quite frankly creepy looking upstairs. I knocked on their door at 9:45 a.m. and the woman working looks at me like I have three heads. She asks me when my appointment is going to be, I reply that I was told to be here at 9:45. She proceeds to(right in front of me) call some other worker on her iPhone and tell me that they will be there soon. The inside of Massage Pro is… lacking to say the least. There are various decorations strewn about and tacky flower stickers everywhere. All of the curtains are covered up, so the only light is from a partially lit fluorescent lamp. The carpet is dirty. Not a relaxing spa environment to say the least. I was immediately uncomfortable upon entry. After waiting fifteen minutes, I decide that my effort is a bust. I ask the woman if I can take my groupon and leave. She seemed very confused as to why I wouldn’t want to wait an additional 15 minutes(so 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment). I have no comment for their massage or facial services, as I did not even stick around that long. The bottom line is this is a very poorly run business with no customer service skills. I should not have to reschedule an appointment three times due to an error on their part, and then I should not show up to an empty spa, at the time they pre-arranged! I am chalking up my groupon as a lost cause, and I most certainly will not be heading back.
