My daughter — age 9 — takes guitar lessons from Tedd. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tedd and Let’s Play Music. Tedd is a wonderful teacher. He makes learning guitar fun. My daughter is shy but seems to really thrive and gain confidence with each lesson. I sit in on every lesson and see firsthand what a great teacher Tedd is and I’m so thankful to have found such a great place for my daughter to learn music. I’ve also seen their drum teacher, another guitar teacher, and a piano teacher all working with students. They all seem just as great. This is a great place to learn to play music. A down-​to-​earth group of people doing great things and playing great music.

My child takes drum lessons with Will. He is incredibly patient and knows how to convey knowledge and skills with ease. I highly recommend Let’s Play Music, especially for drum lessons with Will.

My daughter loves taking guitar lessons here. Ted the guitar teacher is fantastic. My daughter has been taking guitar lessons for about 2 years from Ted. He is patient and really connects with the students. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My kids (6 & 8) have been learning guitar with Tedd for two years. He is the best around this area! We tried Suzuki guitar lesson with Levin at Arlington, the teacher was not warm and less of compassion of teaching. Because of that (thanks to that?), we heard about Let’s Play Music from another mom who was thinking to transferring her kid out from Levin too.
Tedd graduated from Berklee college of music, he is very experienced in teaching all levels of students, both my boys love learning guitar with him!

I took drum lessons with George the first year Let’s Play opened.
George, an excellent instructor, focused on rudiments, the importance of motion and the follow-​through of each stroke, and on keeping precise time.
I mostly worked on snare, but also on tuned percussion (xylophone), tympani, and incidental percussion. Reading skills were also a priority in lessons.
The facilities were clean, and the vibe of the place was very upbeat — the people who ran the place were very polite and professional — I always found it a pleasant place to go to.
The rates at the time were reasonable.
The location is easy to get to, right off route 7 in the middle of Falls Church, although parking can be a bit challenging at times.
I quit lessons after about six months due to my workplace and hours changing and it was no longer convenient for me to come in.
Based on my experience, I would highly rate and recommend the store.

My 2 children and I have taken lessons at Let’s Play since it opened. We have taken over the years guitar, piano, drums and bass. We have always been pleased with the excellent and friendly instructors.

My son took an interest in the guitar and I thought I would start him off with some lessons before he learned any bad playing habits. A friend recommended Tedd w/Let’s Play.
