Surprisingly impressed with the customer service here. They greet you each time that you come in and don’t act pompous about it. Long story short I setup my groomsmen tuxes here and I was having my tux custom made from a tailor. Turns out right before my wedding that tailor went out of business and I had to find a tux somewhere else and decided to check out what Jos A Bank had with their signature line and I was impressed the customer service. The item that I wanted was not in stock in the store so the store manager personally picked it up the next morning and the tailor was able to adjust everything the way that I liked it and even customize some of the pockets. TL;DR Tony the store manager was able to help me find the perfect tux, explain the different offerings and lines they have and was very patient with me changing my mind over and over again. This store may have a customer for life.

If I could give no stars, I would. The customer service at this place is horrendous. They act as if they’re doing you a favor by assisting you. Save yourself lots of headaches and simply go to the Tyson’s Corner location for much better service.

This place is terrible. The people who work here are pompous and don’t give a crap about you unless they know they’re going to make a fat sale out of you. I would highly recommend not going to this location for anything.

This review was sitting in the drafts folder for a while now, since it’s wedding season I thought I would share. Buyers beware! The boy had asked me to accompany him to a suit fitting for a wedding he was in. Right from the beginning our sales associate had an attitude with us(I am assuming this is because she thought we were all young). During the course of the fitting the following events took place: — Associate insulted our party by implying that none of them has ever worn a suit before — Associate had an attitude when our party asked to try on smaller sizes or asked questions about fit — Associate mentioned that she did not know where the hips or how to measure it(she took an educated guess) — Associate did not have the proper paperwork to process tuxedo rentals — Associate blatantly ignored our party to help other customers who had come in afterwards — The entire process for three people to get fitted and paid took a total of two hours As a former retail worker I know how easy it can be to judge all of the customers who come through the store day after day but I also know that in no way possible is it okay to let those prejudices show. I think it is very important to train your employees how to properly fit a tuxedo(especially because you work in a tuxedo store… duh), how to interact with customers, and how to complete transactions. Perhaps other locations offer better customer service but our initial introduction to the company was not a good one. Fast forward to our wedding a few years later, even though it cost more, we decided that J Crew was the best way to go in terms of quality, size, fit, and customer service.

I often find the TV advertised discount structure confusing so have not been in one of these stores for a long time. I was happily surprised at how straight forward it was in the store today and how helpful and courteous the staff was. I got some great deals on shirts and sweaters(up to 70% off). All the sales people were very nice and the lady that rung us up behind the counter was just wonderful to deal with. I bought my first bow tie for 50% off today. I don’t know how to tie one but I got a pamphlet with instructions for free. My current tuxedo bow tie is a fake wrap around one(don’t tell anybody), the sweater I got for 34 dollars or so was definitely a good deal too. I’m impressed, JOS!
