Conte’s Bike Shop

I didn’t have high expectations stepping into Conte’s this week, as I’ve had a tough time finding the right helmet, but Conte’s fixed me up! Michael made some good suggestions and didn’t seem to mind unboxing and unwrapping tons of helmets to find one I liked. I ended up with the Giro Feather MIPS, the only helmet I’ve tried on thus far that doesn’t make my head look like a grotesquely bulbous mushroom. With a 5% discount thrown it, it was actually cheaper than I could get off of Amazon!
This isn’t a huge store, but it’s laid out very well and they have a bit of everything. The service is great and though they’ve only been open for a month, it seems like they are trying to engage with the community (e.g, Michael mentioned the store trying to get a triathlon team together). I expect they will see more business and foot traffic once the rest of the area is more fully developed. Conte’s also feels more family– and beginner-​friendly than nearby stores like Bikenetic, which skews more hipster bike geek.

First time visit to get some minor work done on my 20 year old Cannondale. Great location, lots of parking, friendly staff, and a clean and organized shop.
Dropped bike off at 1000 and picked it up at 1700 the same day. Looking forward to using them for all my bike needs.
Really appreciate the map on their site that provides the best route from the WO&D trail to their shop. Very nice. A sign post on the trail is coming.
