2012 wasn’t any better. A long street fair full of low end junk. The neatest thing(and the only thing) that stood out to me was the guy who had furniture made from avocado wood. I saw one vendor with multiple stands serving guacamole. I definitely wont be attending this waste of time again. I can see more avocados in isle 3 at Von’s.

A local street fair with great«fair» food and everything you could ever do with an avocado from guacamole to skin care products to cooking oils to ice cream!!! Be sure to get there early if you don’t care for tight crowds…70,000 people can’t be wrong!

I had the same experience as Craig W. I didn’t even think to look for reviews of this festival until after I went and was extremely disappointed. I can’t believe it was called an avocado festival, it was just a street fair. And to think I dragged a bunch of friends with me thinking it was going to be the avocadoes galore, boy do I feel bad.

Burned again. Literally and figuratively burned. On a day with temps reaching 100, we drove a million miles to get to the world famous Avocado Festival. What a jerk I am. It’s a big giant street fair, with the same t-shirts, wind chimes, and crappy junk food you find at ANY street fair. If «avocados» were the theme, well, I sure missed it. What happened to festivals where the actual name of the festival was celebrated and there was an actual theme? Now, it’s just an excuse for a crowded street fair selling lots of crap. Never again. I hope.
