St John’s Athletic Club

Decided to have lunch at st. Johns club and by no means was I disappointed soup as good as mamas and huge portguese steak plate never the less I will be having lunch and dinner from 1 meal not a fancy restaurant but who needs fancy when you get great food see you guys soon

Great food even better prices… u can get a large steak sandwich w fries for 7 $ that’s cheaper then McDonald’s…the restaurant is a little dated but the food is good an beer is cheap. They do take out but it’s better to eat there. and she does party platters with a notice

Let me say the food is not too bad, but not my favorite. For me personally I would give at least a 3.5, but thought they deserved more than a 3. Likes and dislikes
Likes: affordable prices, especially for Portuguese food! The steak is huge and juicy! Fries are crispy and delicious. The waitresses and women who have opened and maintained this place are so nice.
Dislikes: The food selection could be a little bit better, come on a Portuguese restaurant they doesn’t have a lot of Portuguese soups? My mom’s fish was absolutely disgusting. She was sick to her stomach from the powdery nasty stuff they call «breading». The fish was also bland.
Besides all of this me and my dad come back each time because they can make a nice steak and shrimp Mozambique. The place is clean but the furnishings could be improved. I would only come here for the shrimp or steak since those seem to be the best things on the menu.
