I have both bought and sold merchandise at FRPB. I agree with both of the previous reviews. Upon selling merchandise, they offered far less than what was fair. When I refused, they went to «speak to the manager», then came back and offered me a fair price, about $ 100 more. However, for sales on merchandise, the service is top notch! Their layaway policy has absolutely no time limit so long as you make payments each month, even if its as little as $ 15. My fiancé and I have a stunning engagement ring on layaway, and as a former jeweler, I can tell you we got it for at least half the retail value, possibly even better than that. We also purchased a laptop computer, only to find it defective once we brought it home. We brought it back and not only did they exchange it, but they gave us a far better system that we could never possibly afford as an even trade. They definitely insure customer satisfaction. They have a customer for life!

Gave full refund after bicycle found to be defective. They wanted to make absolutely sure I was happy with them.

Had some jewelry to get rid of so I had my first pawnshop experience here. Pretty scary but mostly because of the clientele. Since I didn’t really need to sell this jewelry, I denied the offer from the guy behind the glass. He pulled the«well let me ask my manager and see if I can get you a better deal» skit and I ended up with an extra $ 100. Ended up selling rather than bringing it home, but the whole experience was pretty sketchy.
