The kung pao chicken was ok, but minus 3 stars for what the fxck is THIS?! Veggie chow mein consisting of a GIANT pile of sad looking chopped celery, a handful of baby corn, two pieces of broccoli and a small packet of those store bought dehydrated chow mein bits. One picture is(generally speaking) veggie chow mein, the other is what I got delivered from this place. O Hell naw…

Fresh Food. The Sassy Basil was a bit sassy but not overwhelming. Allow time during lunch and dinner.

NEW. FRESH. WOK. I just finished my first online order, which A) was online, yay introverts, B) Super reasonably priced, and C) Ordered at 5:07 — arrived at 5:35. Amazing. Also, the delivery girl was super pleasant and sweet. I expected mediocre food, it is the Midwest. NOPE. WRONG. It was delicious — the General Tso’s was actually somewhat spicy, and was tender, fresh white chicken meat — not just breading for days. They included plenty of white rice on the side, and fortune cookies for days. The sweet and sour pork was simply a mountain. A ridiculous portion size. Filled an entire styrofoam to-go box to the brim and then some. Amazing. The food is awesome, the delivery is amazingly fast and affordable($ 1 delivery charge? That’s it??), and a single order will last you forever. Cannot recommend it enough. Going to check out the lunch specials on site next time!

I have never been inside this restaurant but I ordered 60 dollars of Chinese for delivery. For the 60 I got: 2 orders General Tso Large pork fried rice 3 small jasmine rice Hunan chicken Small order of bone in pork ribs Large order of dumplings 4 egg rolls (See my photos) Pros: Decent quality Fast delivery No msg Cons: Order take was not very customer service oriented Total was never given, she hung up on me after she got my credit card.. unacceptable Delivery driver was curt and didn’t say anything.. He looked look like he didn’t want to be there.. I still tipped him 10 dollars because they were fast I’d order again from this place but if there was a place that had better customer service that delivered.. i wouldn’t do it again. . So go ahead and order.. Just don’t expect them to be happy about it for thankful for your business.

My review is only for their lunch menu since that’s all I’ve ever ordered here. I’ve ordered from New Fresh Wok half-a-dozen times and I plan to keep coming back. All their lunch deals are $ 5.25 for a generous amount of chicken fried rice with a main dish. I usually get the sesame chicken dish. The chicken is huge chunks of white meat chicken with just a thin layer of batter compared to other places where it’s indecipherable pieces of chicken and half of it is batter. This is one of the office favorites for lunch whenever we’re trying to decide where to go. The service is fairly fast and friendly and parking is not a problem here. We’ll definitely keep going back.

YUM! They use white meat chicken for the sesame chicken. Where else can you get that? Fried dumpling appetizer is delish. Eggrolls aren’t the best. But they use fresh vegetables and quality meat and shrimp you won’t find elsewhere. Try it.

Quick deliver and on time, food was well prepared and had a moderately good taste. As good as any local restaurant.

Used to live a block away and would walk there for quick meals. The service is great and the food is delicious. We moved farther away and are bummed we don’t get here as often as we used to. The sushi is always a favorite but so is the sesame chicken and seaweed salad.

Enjoyed a variety of choices as take-out although there is charming eat-in seating available. Recommendations: cheese won tons, shrimp with mixed vegetables and egg rolls. Not a fan: chow mien(I was hoping for something like the old Nankin) and shrimp lo mein. Next time: a platter and the spring rolls. Good value, tasty and ready for pick up quickly.

I hate leaving negative review, but I would not come back here. I was a big fan of this place untill last week. Unfortunately, I had found a metallic thread color in my chicken dish which seems to be from the sponge they use to clean dishes. I gave one star because of the unprofessional attitude of the server that I talked to on the phone. She simply replied«There is nothing I can do, we will just give you ten percent off next time you order a dish for take out. Sometime cleaning sponge material can falls in the food …»

Simply delicious! I crave the food on almost a daily basis. My personal favorite is the lo mein. It’s never too busy in there to not get seating, and the staff is very pleasant. Very easily accessible, and it’s a cute atmosphere as well.

If you’re looking for your go-to favorite neighborhood Chinese restaurant, this is it. They have a great buffet, they deliver. But best of all, the food is very good.

I am wondering where the people who have given this place a five-star rating have previously eaten Chinese food? This is not true Chinese food, this is American Chinese Food… which is what many people are accustomed to, and may not be necessarily a bad thing… but it is not all executed well. I was really craving some excellent Chinese food and went to Café 99 only to find they changed their hours and are no longer open for lunch on Monday and Tuesday. I recalled reading great reviews on here for this place and decided to give it a shot. First warning sign that this was not going to be great Chinese food: Serving Sushi. Any place that serves both Chinese and Japanese food is probably not going to excel at either(I have no comment on the Sushi, as I did not try it). Second warning sign: Egg Foo Young on the menu. This is not going to be found at most authentic Chinese restaurants, though I realize some will include it because people expect it. First up: Pan fried dumplings. Absolutely horrible. Gummy, too-thick wrapper and a mushy, tasteless interior. Second up was a «Szechuan» main course that I will admit was tasty and well-presented, but did not have anywhere near the spiciness and balance of flavors one would expect from a true Szechuan dish. The portions however were huge and I freely admit that if someone just wants to get a lot of bang for their buck and are not accustomed to true Chinese cuisine they may find this place quite enjoyable. But the quality is nothing better than one might get from Panda Express or LeeAnn Chin takeout. And the service? Pretty lousy. I don’t expect«white-glove» service from a small ethnic restaurant in a suburban strip mall, but there is a baseline of competence expected. Our appetizers and main courses were all brought to the table at the same time; who does that? And the server took my credit card and left it at the host stand. Then they preceded to take the orders of three tables(yes, I counted) and then disappeared into the kitchen leaving my card just sitting up by the front door, abandoned for over ten minutes. First time I tipped less than 20% in years.

Great food comparing to those Szechuan Chinese Restaurant. For some reason all those restaurants make super greasy Chinese food even after I asked them to reduce oil and salt.(BTW that’s NOT what authentic Chinese food should be). This one is just what I want, cooked veggies with slightly flavored sauce. Negative reviews were talking about ‘bland’ food offered here. Well, give it a second thought before you crave on those fatty greasy gross dishes.

Ohhhhhhhhhh my god. It’s my firm opinion that everyone needs a good go to chinese delivery place. NONEEDTOCONTINUESEARCHING. This place has fantastic food that is soon affordable. Every time I order delivery here it’s here within the hour, and the food is clearly fresh and very hot. I’ve eaten a lot of things on the menu, and I’ve also eaten at a ton of chinese places. So, here’s a review of a few staples on the menu: Cream cheese wontons: great cream cheese mix on the inside, nice and crispy but not annoyingly crispy where there’s not enough cream cheese mix and too much breading. These are soon cream cheesy, and they give you an enormous container of sauce to go with it, in case you’re a super dipper. Also, $ 3.55 for 6? What?! Fried rice: I’ve had the white meat chicken, pork, shrimp, and veggie. Rice isn’t super greasy, which is usually my biggest complaint about fried rice in other places. Nice mix of veggies, and the shrimp/white meat/pork are all of good quality. Rice isn’t overcooked, which is also usually a problem. Beef lo mein: Also another staple. A little greasy, but in comparison to norm for chinese places, it’s pretty good. Sushi: Not bad, not the best sushi rice mixture. Raw fish NEEDS to be high quality, and unlike some things it’s always easy to tell. This one, the fish was okay. 6⁄10. Wouldn’t get again. The rolled shrimp/veggie rolls are good, the sashimi which is JUST sushi rice and raw fish is lacking. Seafood soup: good mix of fresh veggies and seafood, but the broth is a little too thick.

Great prices – $ 8.25 for entrée, chicken fried rice, and an egg roll. The food is great, especially the General Tso’s chicken; really nice, crisply-breaded chicken. Full Sushi menu is good, fresh, well-made. The staff is great. Really friendly, always remembers their regular customers, quick service. They’ve never messed up even our complicated, large orders. Clean, dimly lit restaurant, nice setting. I’m not sure how anyone could complain about solid Chinese at low price with REALLY fast takeout.

Nice to have this place in the area. The entrees I’ve had have always be good. The shrimp fried rice, shrimp lo-mein, shrimp noodle soup are all favorites of mine. The take-out works great as well. I frequent many different Asian restaurants because of different/favorite entrees at each. Give a try…

I was hesitant to give this place a try as it was almost empty but I am glad we tried it out. The sushi was fresh and reasonably priced. I had the California Roll but I saw a few patrons having different kinds of colorful sushi and they were gobbling it up so I am assuming it was good. We also had Hibachi Chicken, Japanese style, with a delicious ginger sauce, Chicken Lo Mein, Vegetable Lo Mein, chicken friend rice, and eggrolls. I did not like the egg rolls at all but I am not a fan of any Chinese egg rolls. The Lo Mein was good, not any worse or better than other Chinese restaurants. The dinner specials were extremely reasonably priced for large portions. The service was average; typical service you see at most Asian restaurants. It was not a warm fuzzy experience but not icy cold either. Efficient is the best way to describe it. I think they have a large take out business but the décor inside is very inviting and comfortable. You can sit at the sushi bar and watch the chef prepare your sushi or they have booths and tables. The real standout here is the sushi. I most definitely will come back for that.

I was never into Chin’s Kitchen which this establishment replaced, but it seems like they have done a really nice job rehabbing the place. Very modern ambience. Everything was spotlessly clean. The lunch food is very good and also dirt cheap. Nothing on the lunch special menu is more than $ 6.00. I went with the«shrimp w/chill [sic] sauce». I would have liked a little more shrimp and a little less veggies, but it was very good nonetheless. My two co-workers also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. One of them said it was the best chicken dish he has ever had at an Asian restaurant. The menu is very extensive and includes both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. A ton of sushi choices. My only complaint about the place it that the music they were playing was horrible(your musical tastes may vary). Everything they played sounded like the Chinese-equivalent of a really depressing song by Barry Manilow. I don’t need to be rocking out to Gangnam Style at lunch, but I also don’t want music that metaphorically speaking makes me want to slit my wrists. Might be takeout for me next time if they stick with their current rotation of tunes.
