YUMMY. We stopped in today for the first time, just as they were closing, but the owner Colleen was so warm and friendly, even for a Friday at 5. The smell of the bakery was divine and the tastes match! We opted for the focaccia, fresh out of the oven. And we tried two sweets. The lemon crème cupcake with fresh blackberries and blueberries is incredible. They carried out a specialty cake that looked like a edible cooler of ice with Sierra Nevada beer bottles. Watch out Cake Boss!!!

Wonderful little find outside of Asheville! This is a small house on the side of the road, so drive slowly as you do not want to miss it. The fragrant aroma greets you at the door, as does the very pleasant and helpful staff. We wanted to try one of everything, but will have to come back. Delicious cupcakes and cheesecakes! The cheesecakes were individual servings but each big enough to share with several friends. The strawberry peach was heavenly.
Friends from outside of Asheville wanted the address so they can stop in the next time they are in the area.

Gorgeous cupcakes! Have bought several dozen as gifts etc. They have a great variety to pick from, including a Jack Daniels flavor! Peach and pumpkin are also great! If you want something beautiful and delicious, you will love this!!!

What a beautiful gem hidden in the hills south of Asheville. The place is filled with amazing smells & a warm «home» feel. The owners, Colleen & Carla, are very sweet, genuine and friendly.

This wonderfully cute, tucked away bakery is absolutely scrumptious! As soon as you walk in, you are met by the most delicious smell of fresh baked goods and treats before you actually see them. There was a cookie decorating class going on where little girls, clad in vintage aprons were happily personalizing their cookies. Trust me, I will be going back very soon!
PS The macaroons are to die for.

Wow. This bakery is amazing. Their butter cream frosting is so light and fluffy and delicious. It is almost embarrassing to say that I tried 7 different kinds of cupcakes, but I did and they were all perfect (in my defense, I am getting my wedding cake here and I wanted to try a bunch of different flavors). My 4 year old LOVED the red velvet cake pops. I am partial to the lemon cake. The caramel and peanut butter frostings were amazing as well. Don’t even get me started on the chocolate glazed doughnuts. If you are in the Asheville area it is totally worth the drive to check this place out. The ladies are also super friendly and helpful. I cannot wait to see what they do for my wedding!

Fresh baked goodies! We live in Hendersonville but it is worth the trip to get their cupcakes. My favorite is the hummingbird. Everything that we have ordered has been fantastic and we look forward to the Sweet 16 cake that we ordered for our daughter.

Ruth and Ranshaw not only make amazing desserts but they are great people as well. I met both sisters 2 years ago at the Asheville wedding show. I have been in contact with them over the last two years planning for the dessert table at my wedding. I can barely contain my excitement to see their beautiful and delicious excitement. Throughout the process we have met with them at their super cute store and tasted a variety of desserts. I also ordered Christmas desserts from them for our family to try. The truffles and chocolate bark were to die for. The cupcakes are also amazing. I would say anything from this place is going to be delicious and the people are the real reason to keep coming back. Clair and Coleen are wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

Purchased some peanut butter cups from this place at a club auction last week and they are delicious. We live in Asheville, but may go out of our way to try some of their other yummy treats!
