Unique and great support of small local business. At the Farmshop Center you can also purchase one of a kind items, tasty treats and food, and fabulous skincare products. Aww too bad this shop closed Mid October 2015 just not enough business.

Love to buy honey, breads, desserts and sauces. Everyone is friendly and gives a lot of samples. I give it a 4⁄5 because sometimes the bread expires before the expiration date. When I mean expires, it gets all sticky as if a spider web is in the bread. I will still but food here, but next time I won’t buy it if it is close to the expiration date. I love to support the locals!

Great Gyro and awesome homemade Baklava. This place has authentic Greek food. They also sell their Greek dressing at the café.

Decided to give Farmshop center another shot as I really loved the outdoor farmer’s market in Fairview, its predecessor. Last time I came, I was told there was no produce because the recent crazy rainstorms had flooded farmers’ crops and damaged the produce. This time, there were a just a few produce items, but nothing comparable to what they had when the market was outside. When I asked, they said they only had one farmer committed to the market and his crops had again been damaged by rain the night before. They said they were working to get another farmer committed to Farmshop Center. When I suggested they seemed to have much more success when they were outside, as far as visibility and produce selection, they agreed, but said there were no plans to return to the Fairview shops parking lot. In my opinion, the transition from outside to indoors was not handled very well, it took some digging for me to even find that this was where they had gone. Disappointing, as I loved driving down the street from my home to choose super fresh produce directly from the farmers. On another note, I purchased some sesame crisps, olive oil and vinegar, and dry spice rubs here, which were delicious. These vendors were present(apparently not a given), giving out samples and obviously love their products. There are various candies and handmade soaps, as well as art type items for sale as well. When it was outdoors, I loved the tamale lady that gave samples and sold frozen, premade tamales in about 40 different varieties plus an amazing homemade salsa. Now, I saw about 4 different kinds of tamales in a freezer you could purchase, but no one was there to give samples, and no salsa. Several of the other vendors looked as if they left their goods there but apparently felt it was a waste of their time to stay and tell you about their products! You aren’t going to sell much or gain new customers when they can’t try your product and it looks like you don’t even care about selling it. It seems like the vendors don’t really see this indoor farmer’s market as going so well either.

The Farmshop Café inside the Farmshop Center at the Village at Fairview. I would start with the potato soup; the soup was warm and creamy, but as it cooled, I didn’t enjoy it as much and got kind of tired of it. For brunch, I had the gyro wrap and a side of potato soup for about $ 10. The wrap was lightly toasted and seasoned; the veggies were definitely fresh with a hint of geek vinaigrette; the gyro was cooked perfectly. I drizzled the cool tzatziki sauce all over the warm toasty wrap(snap out of it, I’m still talking about food), and it was perfection! SERVICE: 5⁄5 AMBIANCE: 4⁄5 TASTE: 5⁄5 Overall, the gyro wrap was scrumptious. You all should give it a try!

This review its more for the Greek Café. I had the gyro and hubby had the baked ham sandwich and both were delish! The owner was very nice and you can tell she cared. Come and support a local joint and browse the shelves while you’re at it.

There’s a lady that makes Greek food running the kitchen area now! Her food is amazing and she is the sweetest lady ever! You can also buy pies and other deserts to take home! Highly recommend!!!

This is the beginning of a great idea. An indoor farmers market. During the week there is a coffee shop with sandwiches and your usual stuff on endless shelves. Jams, jellies, hot sauce, nuts, and trinkets everywhere. Sat and Sun the vendors show up with their produce, beef, and who knows what else. Weekdays are a waste of your time, so be sure and go on the weekend.

It’s indoor, so don’t bring your dog, if you don’t have a purse dog. But there’s a good variety of items. Willie’s Homemade Salsa is one of my favorites. There’s a shelved area where vendors can leave their goods for purchase, should they happen to be out of town or sick, so that’s very nice.

Turns out this place just opened last week! It’s a really cool concept particularly with winter about to come on — an indoor farmer’s market. It hosts a variety of vendors on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 4pm, and there is also shelf space some vendors rent out to leave their goods for sale for the rest of the time. There’s also what I think is a kid’s area in the far back right, so that’s nice for the parents. There’s also an indoor café that serves food cooked with the fresh stuff brought by the vendor’s, so I assume the menu varies as time goes on, though I’ve only been once so haven’t seen it change yet. They also see coffee and have a decent bit of table and couch spaces to sit and hang out. Overall a pretty cool place with a variety of stuff to check out and sample. I’m particularly looking forward to the cooking classes and perhaps the food co-op they say they’re going to do!
