I love this barns and noble location! It’s a very clean place and peaceful too. People are very helpful! I love it that I can pick up a big and literally stand there for like 30 mins browsing at it and they won’t bother you. I also love the café! They make really good Starbucks coffee and have really good food! I love all the food they have here especially the desserts! My favorite are their cookies and cheesecake! I also love their quiche too! It’s seriously the best! Only downfall for this location is that it’s not affiliated with actual Starbucks so you can’t use your Starbucks card. PS: they need to bring back their tiramisu! It was the best tiramisu I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve travel the world for good tiramisu lol

I think the only bookstore within miles. Clean comfortable and friendly. If they don’t have it they can order it. One thing I would like to say, is provide seating by each section. It’s nice to sit and relax and read a good book

Great Barnes and Noble. It’s a new location so the place is very nice. Café is big and it’ spread out so there’s plenty of seating. Staff is extremely helpful and always positive. Never had a bad experience here other than long lines at the café at times, but that’s not B&N’s fault. Definitely one of my favorite stops when I’m in town visiting family.

I guess I’m the exception but when I go TO a bookstore, I expect to find books. Upon searching the kiosk for several new releases by authors they carry in-store, nothing was available. It was the most useless trip to a bookstore, period. I didn’t check the minor racks at Walmart or Target. I decided to go to a BOOKstore. Yet, these items were nowhere to be found. I understand if they were older titles or rare, but that wasn’t the case. I give the 2 stars because the cashier was very friendly, and I was able to buy two random gifts there. No, they weren’t books or book related. Sad, huh?

If my previous review is still available, they have greatly improved on the Starbucks they run. They actually have bananas for smoothies. They’ve also somewhat improved on their bathrooms.

This is a great B&N. The location is central to the area and they are always willing to help. I use this B&N as a work/relaxation hub. They have a great Starbucks Café inside with the usual selections(I prefer Cinnamon Dolce Latte) and a nice seating area(more quite seating all the way in the back). There selection of children’s books/toys is great and if they don’t have it they will get it. Sure you can go to Amazon and save $ 5.00(and for most things I will) but when you want a nice cup of coffee and a good selection of books, this B&N is your place.

I must admit since getting my Kindle Fire, I rarely frequent bookstores anymore. Occasionally, I find myself missing the touch and smell of an actual book, so I’ll go and hang out at a B & N or Borders. Sometimes I buy a book, but usually I just sit and read for awhile. This location isn’t anything spectacular. I’ve been to larger and I’ve encountered much friendlier staff. It can be difficult to navigate to depending on the time of day as it is located right off of 159. The café has a nice selection of things to nibble on while you’re enjoying your current book/magazine. I tend to drool over the cheesecake and then order something healthier. During my most recent visit, I was on a mission to find a very specific Moleskine planner. I saw it on the Moleskine website, checked the B & N website and they had it. After spending a good while searching through their Moleskine kiosk by their check out area, I gave up and went to Customer Service. The man helped me choose the exact one I wanted to order and said it would be in the store in a week. A week seemed a bit long, given that I can order something from Nordstrom and it takes a matter of days, but I digress. Nothing stands out, but nothing was particularly awful either.

I love Barnes and Noble. It’s my happy place. This one is okay, but a big portion of their store is dedicated to their Nook set up. I get it, Nooks bring in money. I have one. And once when my charger was broken, one of the sales people gave me a new one for free. So service here is great in the Nook department! However maybe it’s just a barnes and noble thing because I have seen it in others– you can never find anyone to help you! Sales people walk by and you try to make eye contact and they just run away. Plus the selection is a little more limited I have found– I am guessing because they needed to make room for the Nook area. Overall, I like this one and it is huge but they could work on customer help and selection.

Typical Barnes and Noble, they have a strong periodicals section and a very nice, efficient staff.

This Barnes and Noble is clean and excellent to spend a free day if you have the time. I think the staff could be friendlier. They were helpful to me, but didn’t seem to like being at work. I had small toddlers with me when I went there, I love they had changing tables this is a plus to me. Often most places don’t offer them.

This is a much needed location for Southern Illinoisans. People who live within an hour of Fairview heights on the Illinois side tend to think of Fairview Heights as an oasis. It’s a great urban refreshment when you live among the corn and soy fields. And no urban oasis would be complete without a decent Barnes & Noble. This location does not disappoint. Friendly staff, great sale tables, organized childrens department.

Nice and Clean with very helpful staff. I was here a couple of days ago and seen an AWESOME Risk game for 50% Off but did not have the money. I stopped by after my Red Robin visit to find that they were all sold out! :(but I seen there was one set aside behind the counter! :) when I asked the cashier about it he said that it was on hold for a customer :(but THEN he said they only hold things like that for an hour. and I would have to wait 30 mins before I could buy it. I told him to call who ever had it on reserve to find out if they were REALLY going to buy it cause I would Buy it right NOW! and he actually did! Long story short I got the Game: D and recieved excellent service!

I felt it only fair to review Barnes and Noble since I just reviewed Border’s. This bookstore is about 45 minutes from my home but if we are shopping nearby(my wife loves the nearby Cold Water Creek clothing store!) I go here to kill time. They are also very friendly and their in-house coffee house actually has a better selection of foods than the Seattle’s Best at Borders. I don’t have a customer appreciation card from here; last I checked you paid to join. I hope that has changed. But they also have a great book selection including many discounted editions.

I will admit it. I am a Class A Nerd. I love to read. I mean I love to read anything. On top of that I am a «typical woman» as they say because I love to argue. If I read something I don’t agree with it’s like fuel to my fire because I will read ten more things just to prove my point. Everytime I have been in here I have awesome service and there are some cool shoppers as well. Parking is kinda hectic since it’s to the side of mall plus shares the parking with little outlet stores. Plus there is aMaggie Moos across the way! Yum. Books and Icecream and I’m done for the day!

I could spend all day in a Barnes and Noble. This is a great location and big store. Lots of books, music and gifts! They even have a little coffee shop inside. Restrooms have changing tables for babies which is always a plus for parents. The only complaint is that the cashiers could be a little friendlier!
